Fellow fisherman, good job keeping the area and the bridge clean from garbage and debris. I am sure Authorities will close the fishing area if garbage is found often due to the aqueduct drinking water to most of the southern cal. How deep are these aqueducts I am sure there are minnows and mud suckers in that water as well.

The fish you are catching or not really purebred striped bass they are a mixture of striped bass and white bass strain or as I would call them wipers but they're fun to catch anyway.

We got told by fish n game to not be inside our car while fishing. We asked why. He resoonded. "We'll if you're in your car then you aint fishing". Reel them in or you're getting a ticket. That was on Sherman Island by Rio Vista on a cold windy night. About 10 years ago.

I think it just depends on the ranger you run into. I’ve ran into multiple rangers while on my car on the aqueduct. They understand that it’s hot and there isn’t any shade. As long as you are watching them and not leaving them unattended then it should be good

I tried the aqueduct and got skunked. Not even a single bite. Worms, anchovies, liver, all got nothing. Tried tossing countless lures too. Still nothing. Left and hit the delta and had non stop action.

Aqueduct is hit or miss. If you don’t get bit in less than 20 minutes, just move to another spot on the aqueduct. These fish are moving around all the time. Just need to find them.

Use Google Map, it's the California. Aqueduct California . You can find many places in Bakersfield and Fresno area. I fish in the Los Banos area. Good luck

Hate that Demacratic state of California, fishing license is too expensive, fish limits are insane; 2 fish per day, 18" and up for striper, large mouth was 22" when I still live there, and only one rod person unless you purchase a second rod license. Buying guns and bullets are so strict for the good citizens, it's only good for criminals to live in that state because the Demacratic governments who run that state treat criminals like heroes and treats good citizens like criminals. Cost of living have skyrocket up to the moon, houses, foods, and gas price are insanely high for the people who live there. What a corrupted state to live in. I'm glad I have moved out of that communist state. Where I live laws now laws are fair, castnet is legally use to catch bait fish, no limits on rod, fish limits are good and lots of fish to catch. Gun laws are fair and good for the good citizens, own as many gun as you want and buy bullets anytime you want. Conceal gun is allowed to carry in almost every public places, except court house, police stations, and some private places.
