I think this season will be a blessing because when he’s 100% and the velocity is back the work he put in this season will be invaluable.

Hey Tony great show . Strombo and Eric are very knowledgeable as are you about our HABS ! I was at that Rockets game on Friday nite also and Dobes was lights out for sure . Went to the Habs game Saturday night and they showed they are a work in progress . My first time seeing them in person still a thrill ! Used to watch the games on Saturday nights as a kid when our aerial was a coat hanger 🤣

Totally agree with Strombo. About Snakes dumb comment about Gainey s. Jersey being retired.i usually agree with Snake overall, but that comment was the dummest comment I ever heard coming from him . He definitely doesn’t get what Gainey was too that team. The Soviets even got it. That was the first time Snake pissed me off . Great show Tony

Tony, you're mistaken. The 84 Habs won the first two games of the Conference finals in Montreal, then lost the next four. But the Habs had home ice advantage in that series.

That Koivu era Habs roster was a disaster. Rejean Houle crippled the organization for decades.

The way Tony described his feelings regarding the people in charge of Montreal Canadiens...indeed prove the great power of the Canadiens controlling the Montreal sport media even though they have not accomplished anything yet . As Tony, everybody thinks that HuGo might bring a cup to Montreal with this "accelerated rebuild" which has so far failed to bring any elite talent in the pipeline...this is what you call "wishful thinking" !!!

The coaches are not a staff that will win playoff hockey and you need to put a coach in place now that coaches playoff hockey not the style they play now

It really pees me off when I hear inconsistencies and picking spots.St.Louis whom I can't stand as a coach scolded and sent Arber down to Laval doing what Guhle is being praised for.Slafkovsky took 3 stupid penalties in one game and the coach praised him saying he was intense and a competitor. When St.louis had Arber sent down claiming he had to work on his game he was the leader at PLUS 5 the ONLY other plus was Kovacevic who is also the guy constantly getting benched. Jordan Harris is NOT good enough and I assume Tony's claim of his great game was simply a case of Harris getting a couple points.Just because you get some points does NOT mean you played a great game.A player gets around 20 shifts a game 2 points is only 2 of those 20 shifts. Talking about centers scoring 30 the last 93 cup team our centers Damphousse 39 PLUS 5...Muller 37 PLUS 8...Lebeau 31 PLUS 23 see the difference from wining and LOSING? Suzuki was praised last year -13 and this year praised even more he is already a -13 .Now I mentioned consistency and shifts I agree Suzuki plays a lot of good shifts but imo he also plays quite a few LQ shifts.Matheson the leading MINUS plays great shifts 22/27 shifts a game but he looks like the scapegoat because he is the last line of defense and plays so much that a few bad shifts standout.
@justinlocke8390Ай бұрын
Brother Suzuki plays against the top lines of other teams night in and night out. Slafkovsky isn’t Arber as well. Slaf is way more important to the future of the team than Arber. I’m not saying Arber isn’t important. But if we had to choose between Arber getting to max potential and Slaf getting there, not one fan would pick Arber.

Dont be so pissed off dude, St-Louis is a great coach, and all thoses moves you mentionned could be questionnable, think of it if thoses moves wouldnt been made we would not be in the bottom with a high draft pick... We would be a middle of the pack team that does not participate in the playoff. I want a Championship winning team and for that we gotta to go through a rebuild. THAT'S THE WAY ; )
