I thought this was a particularly useful interview. Because of ever-increasing government intervention in the markets, fundamental analysis absolutely does not work and hasn't worked since the GFC. It's all about momentum and trends now and technical analysis is useful there. When fundamentals help support the technicals, that is just gravy. I found Mr. Vermeulen's explanations of certain technical indicators very helpful. Thank you for having him on.

He has a point in a way. It really depends on what is going to trigger the sell-off though. Market velocity may change quickly. If a reversal happens, it is now on the point of happening and the S&P500 doesn't go any higher, for instance, the market might drop before May. He is only talking about weekly and daily charts, in the current situation he should use a 4-hour charts as well. The 4-hour chart on the S&P500 may give a better clue on the timing. Moreover, I repeat again, what will determine the velocity of the reversal, might be related to the nature of the correction. If a nuclear explosion will trigger the drop of the market, the set-up of the chart shall be conspicuosly different from what he is asserting

At this point it's a game of musical chairs. There is no underlying value supporting stock prices and Bitcoin. Just mindlessly pile in with reckless abandon and hope you can get out before the next guy.

He's telling everybody to buy, so that there is a buyer to allow him to exit his position. At least that's how the hedge funds work.

Could care less about this worthless analysis!. I’m so out of this market. Mind boggling to me that most can’t see that this is a complete BS rally. Just ask the insiders! Buffet, Bezos, Dimon, Zuckerberg, Walton Family, Tuberville, I could go on. Popcorn ready to watch the greatest rug pull of all time.
