Millionaire matchmaker Patti !!! Loved her no BS approach

She was the aunt we all wished we had. Also, on a random note, I remember her having the shiniest hair in the world!

Hi Julia! Hope you're braving the LA heat! Yes - I've sold Odell - 2 dresses and a top. They took about 5-9 months to sell in the price range from $30-60. The one you found is gorgeous and I'm sure it will sell quickly.

Girrrrrrrrlllll, we're baking over here! I try to keep that air off when I can, but sometimes, you've got to do it! Those are some great prices on the Odells pieces! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the sold comps, but you're, like the 4th person to confirm these kinds of prices!

I have learned about so many brands watching your channel!! 😊 Thank you!!! Just sold an Aileen West nightgown I found at the bins ($2) for $49.99!! ❤

YESSSSSS! Now, THAT'S what I like to hear! Was it newer or vintage?

@@JMSquaredVintage vintage!! The name was Aileen!! Not Eileen!! Looked very Victorian or Edwardian - cotton lawn fabric! 🙂

Hello! I love your videos. Idk if you have ever done a video where you take an old haul and let us know if the items sold say 6 months later and where they sold and for how much. I personally love those but I do think they are probably a bit hard to put together and edit. Just wondering! You always find so many amazing things. Your information about brands, materials, and styles is almost unparalleled! Thanks for all the knowledge!
@JMSquaredVintage3 ай бұрын
Well, first of all, thank you SO much for the kind words! I'm so happy to finally have an outlet for all of this random knowledge... I love this idea! Maybe not taking a whole complete haul (I feel like that would bore people to tears), but maybe pulling together something along these lines showing what items sold fast, what items i thought would go fast but took forever, etc... Thank you so much! Never hesitate to send me any kind of content ideas you'd like to see! You've got my brain churning right now! ❤️

Sold an odielle piece when I first started that was a constellation print top for $75!

Oooooh! Constellation print?! I'm intrigued! That's an incredible price for a top!

I should really finish watching the video before I comment, so I can get everything in one. I sold a 12th Tribe scarf print slip dress for a little over $30 - super cute but it did take a while to sell about a year and I lowered the price a couple of times. I have a similar floral block print Cleobella blouse for sale and its still sitting there - so I will revise the price. Love that Free People plaid dress!
@JMSquaredVintage3 ай бұрын
🤣🤣🤣 I do this ALL the time to some other KZbinrs! Three cheers for stream-of-consciousness commenting! Good to know on that 12th Tribe thing - I'm interested to see how it goes - reviews seem to be pretty mixed on them, so maybe it's super style dependent. The Cleobella blouse sold for me over the weekend over on Depop - maybe list it over there if you don't already have it crosslisted (had a LOT of action on it too prior to it selling...)

@@JMSquaredVintage thanks for the feedback. I only sell on Ebay, just easier for me with the full time job. But good to know.

I just sold an Odells dress today! How funny that you had an Odells dress in your haul. It’s definitely a BOLO. I sold it for $80 and it wasn’t even NWT. 😊

What are the odds, for real!!! That's an AMAZING sale! It does look like it was definitely one of the more expensive brands that Anthro carried...

Do you have a video on tags? Like how to tell a vintage tag from current?
@JMSquaredVintage3 ай бұрын
Hmmm - I don't - it's a pretty deep subject (bottomless, really) - there's not even really a central repository on the web (there are some, BUT it's all very fragmented) - it's a good idea though. I'm going to do some noodling to see if I can figure out some overarching tips on how to figure out which labels are vintage vs. current that can, more or less, blanket apply to all brands without going down the wormhole into any particular brand, I think it would be pretty helpful. GREAT idea - I'm going to start organizing my thoughts on it...Thank you!!

...also, I'm torn on that Varvatos Tee. It's definitely something I can see being sold, but I'm with you - I think those few holes are just a little too big. I wouldn't be surprised if it was sold as distressed, and just poorly cared for...

That's where I'm leaning too - such a shame because it's SO so soft!!

Hello, Julia! Could you please tell me - do you accept returns on eBay? I usually have 1 return out of 10 items sold, and the reason is that the buyer changed his mind about purchasing the item. This fact upsets me so much, and sometimes I feel like giving up on eBay and focusing only on Poshmark's sales....What do you think? Love your hauls! So many interesting brands and things!
@JMSquaredVintage3 ай бұрын
Hi! So - I've gone back and forth on that a million times, but I don't. Of course, Ebay will still force some through, which is just part of selling on the platform, but just being a one girl show, I try to run eBay as similarly to Poshmark and Mercari as I can. I do find that buyers on eBay tend to be a bit more aggressive, but once you can get to the point where you don't take it personal, you'll be fine. (I've legitimately had a person threaten me physically after I didn't take a return on a sweatshirt and "she couldn't believe I had the audacity to sell a sweatshirt so scratchy" - it was a high end designer, brand new with tag..), but yeah, for my sanity, I don't. I try to be as thorough as possible with pictures and my descriptions, and quick with a response to any questions, and generally, I do great on eBay, with lots and lots of happy customers. I know eBay tries to force the returns with "perks", but, the fact is, they really want to compete with Amazon, and, indeed, a LOT of their sellers do both and sell products that people would buy in both places (i.e. small electronics, etc. etc.), but for people like us selling pre-owned and vintage, it's just not a sustainable business practice - at least for my business, both bottom line wise AND manpower wise.

Hey Julia. Greetings from the Jersey Shore again! Great haul. I snagged 2 items right after I watched 😊 Shame on me I'm supposed to stick to reselling only but I couldn't resist. Kinda funny you thought the small Sundance top would sit in your closet Nope. It'll be happily worn this fall by me. I thought about bundling the Young, Fabulous and Broke too too but I didn't see it. Did I miss it or did you list it elsewhere?

Thank you! It's AYR, and it was a bins find!! I can absolutely vouch for the quality of these - and it's a perfectly soft Oxford. I highly reccomend!! If you can't find one at the thrift, I do see them pop up on Poshmark pretty frequently for about a third of their retail price

Oh my goodness! I KNEW the name was familiar (and, naturally, I know your area well!! Jersey shore FOREVER - honestly, what I wouldn't do for a slice of boardwalk pizza right now...)!! SO happy you grabbed them! That Kimono - seriously - one of the most interesting pieces I've ever had pass through my hands. That YFB hoodie didn't go up yet, but I'll get it listed within the next few days - I'm STILL catching up after that monster haul my mom and I did!
