Just a heads-up ( in case you dont already know). .. Korean Air are flying the 747-8i into Sydney from Sep 2nd, but its only for a short while. We're probably not going to see many of these birds downunder. Could be a good video opportunity if you can get out of bed early enough.

Anybody notice the flap on that Qantas 747 the left flap when it hit the ground was flopping around like I was ready to fall off I think it needs to be looked at

Completely normal for the 747. As far as I know it's not as common the 747-8 but on the 400, 300, 200 and 100 models the flaps tend to bounce quite a bit.
