I got around 180-200 lbs Tarpon in Tampa bay in July , like you I was over after 30 mins , pure muscle. Like you I was done fishing that day after that. Spinning combo , inshore - medium heavy/heavy .. I wore me OUT! Maybe go Tarpon fishing in the Bay as the summer is coming up!!
