Relatable. Was olympic lifting and trying to get to nationals. Was 180lbs 0r 83kg Being trained by an Olympic competitor and national professional. Was doing sets of cleans at 3 reps. 3rd set second rep... pop... couldn’t breathe, hurt to move, got my spine decompressed by the coach went home, couldn’t walk or move for 3 days, 4th day got up started slow and started working out again. About 2 months later i tweaked it and went to the orthopedist, said it was muscular nothing to worry about. Kept training for two more years with non stop back pain and clicking. Finally went to the doctor demanded and MRI, got one and turns out I had two herniated discs, one bulged disc and a cyst that formed on the thoracic part of the spine. That orthopedist said its fine don’t worry about it will heal. Went to one of the best orthopedic spine surgeons to get a cortisone shot in the vertebrae, and he told me what the other doctor said was BS. He said he was surprised I never hurt myself worse than what happened and surprised they healed while still doing heavy lifting. Crazy ride it has been.

@@PlutoTheGod well deadlifts are a lower body exercise and so if you are already strong on the squat you can start out deadlifting more especially when you have the size he has, do you really think a 400lb 6’7” dude is gonna start with 405. Gaining size and doing other exercises can increase deadlifts too. For reference my max deadlift fully fresh was once 355 and I hadn’t deadlifted for a year so you’d think I would have got much weaker, however my size increased and I got much stronger on exercises like rows and squats. One day I decided to do a deadlift at the end of a training session because my friend was doing them also so I decided to mess around and I managed to do 405. If it can work like that for me then for someone as strong as Oberst it will work on a much larger scale

Joe Max Fpv it's not a circular saw, it's like a jig saw. I think they have attachments for actual jig saws to be used for deep tissue massage. This breaks up the scar tissue.

Hey Joe. In a couple of week Ramsey Dewey will come near your studio. He is trainer in China actually and it would be a great oportunity to have him for a podcast with you. If you don't know the guy you should. Great teacher, analysing all style and martial arts with a unique touch of wisdom on KZbin. A podcast with the two of you would be amazing.

For both legs to go numb and both sciatic nerves to be compressed you have to do some damage to root nerves L4-S3 in the lumbosacral plexus OR he enflamed or even tore BOTH priformis muscles inside of the pelvis. It’s called piriformis syndrome, usually you only get it on one side, bilateral impingement isn’t very common. These strong men guys are fucking insane xD but to be the best in the world you have to do crazy shit like that

Robert you have a gear most athletes don’t posses,💪🏾and I totally agree with him on dead lifts, one move where your form isn’t correct and it can cause you years of pain,rehab,possibly surgeries, I’ve lifted for 40 years and at 61 have experienced my share of injuries but came to the conclusion probably 20 years ago I didn’t need to dead lift of squat and I don’t regret it one bit (just talking about me).

I just got an MRI on my back, it's $3k. If I didn't have insurance I wouldn't have done it either
@guinnessbernard5 жыл бұрын
Tom H just to be clear. I love America, and I'm no where close to being wealthy. I have a co-pay of $3k every year on my health insurance. After paying the $3k for my MRI my insurance then covered 85% of the following back surgery I had, and whatever else happens for the rest of the year. I don't expect/look for the govt to take care of me/my family. All I'm saying is if I didn't have insurance I would've put off the MRI until I could afford it

Live in Canada it was free but I had to wait 10 months till I got it
@guinnessbernard5 жыл бұрын
Tom H You are already pitching in with your taxes first off. Second, you name me one company ran by the govt that is all about customer service. You take away the private sector in healthcare, you take away incentive. If every hospital gets paid the same for everything by the govt, why would they take any steps towards bettering the customer experience, research/development, etc? You'll end up waiting 10 months for a surgery (like the gentleman from Canada just commented about) instead of me waiting a week and a half for my MRI, then another 2 weeks for my surgery
@guinnessbernard5 жыл бұрын
Tom H I'm not trying to shit on you or tell you you're wrong. You probably make a lot more money than I do, pay way more taxes, and it's cool you want to help people out. We just differ in the way we would go about it
@Kermit465 жыл бұрын
Most places have a cash option if you pay then and there. Usually between $350-400. The scam is insurance increases the cost of healthcare
