I love my 150lbs Rogue bag. I accidentally overfilled it and it actually weighs 176 lbs. I drop it on the asphalt, let it roll from a full stride drop on the concrete and have forgotten it in the back of my truck multiple times during heavy rain showers and 3 years later has developed ZERO signs of damage or leakage. I just recently bought the new Red sandbag from Rogue (100 lbs version) and I'm excited big time 😄 Great video sir

I got a 50kg one and it's really good but what bothers me is that it's not completely firm when filled up so I wanna get something like the rogue or cerberus. Great review! I have been waiting on you to review the Madfitter bag. So glad that I didn't go with the Titan sandbag. I just recently received my 150lb Rogue bag. Your Rogue bag is made on the old style. The new Rogue bags are like the Cerberus bag, there is no lace over the zipper. I love my Rogue bag but I may try the Madfitter bag. I had different cerberus bags (60kg and 80kg) and based on my experiences, the 60kg works amazingly well despite being overfilled (i filled it to 70kg and even slam it sometimes), while i purchased 80kg twice and both ruptured within few months. I'd probably try out the rogue bag next time. Nice video btw!

Thank you so much for reviewing the different bags. I just filled my Titan 150 lb bag. Took over an hour to fill using a large automotive funnel....the bladder will hold more the 3 50 lb bags of sand, but you won't be able to close the zipper. The zipper was a challenge in and of itself. The good thing is that is is very firm....and I got this as a return for $20 off. I think I will go Rogue or Cerberus when I move up though.

Well done video! I currently have all IronMind sandbags, but two of them are already having some bottom seam problems and I've had them for barely a year (not to mention having to close them up with a buttload of duct tape is a pain already). Im pretty sure ill go with the Cerberus ones for anything 150lbs and over when I go to replace my existing ones, and maybe the Madfitter or Ludus ones for lighter bags. have you seen that Cerberus just added a new GP sandbag to its line? i got luck as i wanted a 60kg to go with my others as i wanted a slightly larger one from my 45(100lb) bag but smaller than my 80 and the largest GP bag is a 60. i figure it will work for additional exercises with all the handle configurations as i progress in size. the smaller ones look like they might make a good alternative to the throwing bag (as they are currently out of stock) but after talking to Cerberus the bags are made to take a beating but the handles are not made a tough as the one on the throwing bag and they would not recommend them for that use.

@TheKurtlocker4 жыл бұрын
The madfitter bag seems to be the exact same construction as the lighter rogue bags and the same as the Ludus Imperium. I think that the bags will last just fine, especially since they are relatively lightweight sandbags when compared to other strongman bags. I use mine almost weekly and it has yet to show any use and I drop it on textured concrete

Thanks for taking the time to make this. I currently have the 150 lb Rogue bag and love it, but want a 100 lb and 200 lb to round out my collection. I’ve been tempted to order some of these off Amazon because they’re a little cheaper when factoring in tax and shipping, but it looks like Rogue’s quality is superior, even if on paper they appear the same. Might as well stick with Rogue.

Hey man, I hope you still see this. Finally(!!) I got the madfitter bag, corona times are different it seems. I've got a question - I filled my bag with limestone gravel, I wanted to fill it with sand but heard that humid sand might cause mold and such. What do you think? does sand must ve dried first?? (I got 100 kilos of sand anyway). What do you think about gravel filling?
@TheKurtlocker4 жыл бұрын
Gravel filling is fine, it just May weight differently and potentially wear out the inner filler of the bag earlier than normal
