Philly Show is the longest running card show in the country. Started in 1975! Have a good time at Strongsville Theo. Hope you find some nice cards for the collection.

Looks like it will be a fun show, but honestly with all the hype I thought it would be twice that big. Hope you find the cards you're looking for.

I saw every table multiple times, in one day. But I will say, it was nice, not having to skip modern tables, really streamlined everything!

The cards inside were definitely insane! But yeah, the size isn’t overwhelming

I can’t wait to see your other videos from this show. Unfortunately, I am not able to make it this weekend. Between work with my nonprofit and a family member in bad health, it isn’t going to happen this year. Make me proud!

Hang in there buddy, family first! Maybe next year!

Thanks for sharing, Theo. When I heard the show was moving to an arena, I had the impression it would be huge. Looks like a practice facility disguised an arena. That being said, the tables you walked by looked VERY nice for set builders. Hope you're having fun out there!
@ClementeCollector5 ай бұрын
Yeah, not a lot of vendors or non card tables. So the space was optioned. But everything is inside the rink, so not crazy big! Definitely a lot of cards for set builders. Thanks for watching Rick!

As it's a vintage only show and the term vintage is speculative, what is generally the accepted standard as far as year gos.?
@ACD19945 ай бұрын
Pre-war to 1980.

Looking at the sea of mostly old guys, and really REALLY old guys at this show for the majority, I wonder where vintage card collecting is heading. Let's face ... it was all white guys. That's where the money comes from that drives this hobby. And with kids not really getting into sports nowadays, and by that I mean white kids, where will the connection be between sports and collecting cards in the future ? I don't see the hobby going away, but I also don't see enough new money coming in the hobby to keep supporting the continued rise of all the vintage prices, or all prices across the board, except with what is / will be happening with the ultra modern. I'm wondering if we're at the peak of the hobby.
