@StruckByBelz 8:50 demon slayer set up a motif of those jackets; Everybody has a different color jacket that's recognizable and different; checkered jacket, yellow jacket, boar hide for a mask, ect... for tanjiro that checkered jacket is the sole part of his design, that you're used to because it's been that way for 3 seasons straight.. So seeing him with no shirt is surprising to you steph On the flip side, shows like baki, and dragonball..it's not that surprising to see them without a shirt, because the show puts emphasis on a muscular motif

This episode direction felt like classic Demon Slayer 1st half with the chibi moments with the main 3 boys and those Demon infinity castle scenes in this ep felt super cinematic. Tanjiro pushing the boulder with his mark manifesting was epic.

What I like about the title is that it doesn't explicitly say who the strongest in the corps is. Meanwhile, the next episode is then titled Gyomei Himejima. This episode, however, was tailored on Tanjiro, not Gyomei(that's next episode). So I see this as subtle foreshadowing to Tanjiro's power.

A long time ago, the biwa woman was a musician. She had to performance a biwa show to inportant people so she bought an expensive suit for the ocassion. Before the concert, her husband (alcoholic or ludopath, i can't remember) stole her suit and sold it. She was so furious that she killed him. Then, she went to work and play the biwa being really nervous. That was an excelent performance because her hands trembled a lot. So, in order to be at the top of her game, she used to search for people that left her really anxious/excited after killing them. One night she tried to kill a certain man (Muzan), but intead of killing her, he was amazed for her research abitities. That is her speciality.

They do have them but they train separately. I imagine since they have men bathe together etc. also their training for a war and maybe some dropped out. All of it will make sense in final arc even if this arc seems pointless now.
