In the case of Togame, most of the things he does are pretty practical. He's went for blast doubles, ankle picks,Fireman's carry. Even his hand fighting and takedown defense in the episode before this was pretty spot on.

At 12:56 yeah, in the anime they didn't show this but Sakura would have been down if he fought Choji even at his best and he realised that, hence the dialogue at that scene, in the manga there was just one small panel showing Sakura down on the floor and Choji standing still (that is what Sakura envisioned if he did take a fight with Choji)

i really like this show.. not only is the fight choreography insanely good, each character has a unique fighting style that in someway ties into their personality...
