Don't get me wrong the animation has been lackluster but I've enjoyed the hell out of s2 so far 😂 people saying "read the manga" or "its just a manga music video" but thats still better than the manga. The music, color, voice acting, etc make it worth watching still

I totally agree i don't see bachira as a left back like u said he's not that fast plus he's very technical with the ball one on one with him You're dead plus he has a good qualities of passes we saw that with isagi and nagi last season hept feeding them caviars the whole season so i see him more as a midfielder or winger

You got the point bro! Bachira loves to beat opponents with his dribble, it's kinda risky as a fullback. But his acceleration and passing vision might be very helpful for the team.

Bachira is likely playing the lwb role because his dribbling lets him run down the line and cross it in. And Bachira basically one of the main crossers/passers back in season 1

I just want to be that guy to defend the "bad animation". It isn't that blue lock has "bad animation", blue lock has little animation. And this may be a stylistic choice by the animation studio which is perfectly fine. I've seen other non-mainstream anime adopt this style and I don't have any issues with it. What bad animation is, is when movement is clunky much like the 'additional time' at the end of blue lock. But again, that is a stylistic choice. It's bad animation but no one talks about or complains because we all understand that animation isn't needed for bloopers. I do expect more animation to be added during the U20 match but just wanted to throw it out there since we all kinda get spoiled by great animation most recently MHA and Bleach

Marcelo wasn't that much of a technical player he wasn't that good on eliminating players on one to one he was fast and had good quality of passes he kept feeding CR7 for a good time with those long ah passes from the corner position so bachira is more like a ronaldinho/robinho/neymar type of player

Btw the formation is a pretty imaginary one with 5 attackers 4 defenders and just karasu as play maker and as defensive midfielder, it's pretty impossibile to play this way but that's "blue lock magic" ahahahah. Oh also the animation quality will not get better, the trailer for the match is out and it doesn't seem better. We also got "leaks" from animators saying that we won't get anything good.

Even though Karasu's in the midfield, he'll play as a forward, like everyone else besides Gagamaru ofc. Blue Lock is a only-forwards team after all, there's no way the formation would be something like 443, 442 or 424.
