THANK YOU SIR, as you have taken sab(membrane) ,what if we take it as a shell thin or shell thick then what will be the procedure for load transfer

then it would transfer loads by finite element method wich would be far more difficult that you can't even believe

Thank for the video. However I do not grasped how W=0.240 k/ft for triangular loading and then W-0.15 k/ft for the UDL. How is those values obtained. I believe I have missed something between W, Wo and w. Thanks in advance.

Hi! I have explained the actual distribution and equivalent distribution in my video. The formulas are derived based on moment calculations. Watch video from time step 3:30 to 7:00.

4:40 w expression for uniformly distributed load on beam is w=wo*L Its not divided by 3

It's WL/3 to convert tributary load to UDL. So it's correct there

10*0.16=1.6k & 10*.24/2=1.2k
