Viruses like this last for about two years, so 2022 is probably very accurate.

I was half expecting a twist being that the rest of the world is fine while that apartment is the only place still quarantined, with that fact being kept a secret from the tenants of the apartment to keep them indoors and depressed/docile.

When I watched this video I decided to give this demo a shot. I had watched the video so I knew what to do, but wanted to explore everything at my own pace, seeing it's short. That said, when I watched this, I didn't notice the pale girl standing inside your own apartment when you look through the hole, and I was alarmed because before I looked through the hole I actually saw her standing outside the neighbor's room in the hallway then quickly vanish, and THEN I checked the hole and noticed her standing there... Good stuff

This is reminding me of another game you played, forget what it was called but you were in a apartment and shadows showed up from time to time and you could shoot them with your revolver. And a massive tower was growing in view outside your window and it ends when you finally leave the apartment.

Getting a bit too real with this one. I like my games to be more about escaping reality. Because using the threat of mutations on something that is literally impossible to stop, is something that politicians would use to lock us up in our homes for years. Aside from that, I really like the visuals and atmosphere. That PS1 style look is great.
