I played this game with friends and I loved it. I found it scratched the same building itch of settlers without the time-suck. And it’s portable. It’s been 10 years so is harder to find, but I got a thrifted copy from the Sally-An and I’ve never been more satisfied!

The Rivals for Catan is a 2-player card game version of Settlers of Catan while Struggle for Catan is the card game version of Settlers of Catan? Has this officially jumped the shark? What's next - Settlers of Catan: Catapult?

Well, I would more call it a party game inspired on settlers of catan. It's quicker and easy to travel

My wife DID NOT like this, at all. I found it pretty boring, and wish we had gotten RIVALS FOR CATAN instead. Oh well.
