Forge comes from a line of shaman, his people train to defeat the adversary. Also for those that didn’t know Storm comes from a line of magic priestesses that’s where her white hair and blue eyes come from, not her mutation.

Being a huge Gambit fan as well, that last episode hit me like a ton of bricks. It ended at 12:30AM and I fell asleep at like 3AM from trying to process everything myself. It personally hit me hard due to Gambit being my favorite X-Man since 92 when I was 8. I also related with the drama of past relationships to a near tragic car accident I was in where my mom almost burned alive but was saved through a literal miracle. Episode 5 took me back to all that. I am glad they did Gambit justice.

I still can't get over how everyone working on the show says we haven't seen anything yet. This reminds me of Andor, where we get The Eye in episode 6 and then they just escalated to infinity. And Sinister? You know he's working with Nimrod and Bastion and Apocalypse, and we're getting Gambit as a Horseman? Milky Way Ghetto? Freak Fluids? This show is just wild. 11/10 (an extra 1 for the classic Storm fit)

I loved the fact that Storm literally had to reboot herself to reactivate her powers and the fact that Xavier felt what happened galaxies away was crazy. And Gladiator is basically marvel's version of Superman either way this was an awesome episode

Yes you are on the right path concerning Gambit becoming Apocalypse's horseman Death. It was in the "Blood of Apocalypse" storyline from issues 182-187 of the X-Men comics. It was a pretty good story which also had 2 other former X-Men becoming horsemen but I won't spoil who they were for anyone who hasn't read those issues and I highly recommend them.

Gladiator is one of my favorite marvel characters. Basically Superman, but powered by self confidence. As long as he has confidence in himself and his powers, he is basically unstoppable. As for why Xavier is alive, here is the dialogue in Xavier's death bed: Beast: You are too late, Lilandra. Lilandra: For human science, yes. So there's a story called LifeDeath in Claremonts og run that's going over this but in more detail. Forge is a mutant with a unparalleled genius equalb to Tony stark but he also comes from a family of mystics but forge didn't vibes with magic. That's until "the war" he and his crew hit trapped and went fubur so forge used his inherent magic knowledge to use the life force of his fellow soilders to summon the adversary to kill the enemy but that's lead to Storm,forge and the xmen to fight the adversary, gain storms powers back, and save the world but that also lead to their "death".

Apocalypse might be behind this all. And he might revive gambit as a horseman. Magneto isn't dead. Erik is going all the way Magneto and going to be a serious threat again, and Charles will make it back in time just to stop him. Then together they will learn its really Apocalypse and his forces including gambit as death.
