Something I caught: Cyclops knows Storm's only weakness is claustrophobia, so he kept her back away from the structures just in case. Then when he needed the "KILL" button, he called her right in from open ground. SO good. OG fan here, I loved it. When Storm went off in the desert I literally cried. So much respect for the characters.

He is a great tactician. I think the plan was less because of Storm’s claustrophobia and more because the sentinels would have targeted her because she is omega level. Bringing her in at that moment allowed her to “cast” freely.

Cyclops has always been my favorite superhero and the entire reason i got into superheroes and comics is him in the 90s xmen cartoon. It's so nice to see X-Men 97 deal with the issues that I had to hide my whole life; ever since I was a child I knew I was different from others and that I couldn't speak out loud what I was truly feeling in my heart for fear of judgment and scorn but thanks to this show I finally can say the words out loud: I ALWAYS THOUGHT CYCLOPS WAS THE COOLEST!

I'd like to think that when Cyclops lets loose with that optic blast during his skydive, I was thinking: 'HOLY COW! THAT'S A MEGA OPTIC BLAST!' It was like an homage to the Marvel vs Capcom games. FUN FACT: Cyclops was supposed to do his Cyclone Kick in the Warehouse Fight, but was denied by the showrunners (D@mn!). Well, at least we got the Mega Optic Blast.

I personally was heavily anticipating the redemption of Cyclops in the eyes of the average Comic Book fan,but a character i really didny expect to be so handy in terms of abilities in the field is Morph. I mean,holy crap. I cannot believe this guy isnt in the comics as a member of the team because his ability to morph into Different Xmen is not only really unique but it allows the roster to not get completely overloaded with too many characters. Also his relationship with Wolverine cant be forgotten. Hes the only one besides Jean to actually get him to reveal how he truly feels,with his Morphing into Jean Grey allowing Wolverine to slip his feelings for her and how he feels about her and Scott leaving.

This right here is why Marvel prevailed where DC was always a hard sell. They made everything be about Batman they’ve turned him into a Mary Duel completely unreliable. With DC they are GODS living amongst human (Batman is no longer a human when they treat him like a God) Marvel are about humans who become Mutants and trying to find their place in Society. Being born one way then finding out you are different is then being shunned from your family, friends and society is extremely relatable. The reader becomes engrossed in the story of these characters It’s why I no longer like DC or even Batman Notice how in the first two episodes they made it a team effort and all of them are very important and not just one character. In less than an hour, they showed cyclops and storm the respect they finally deserved compared to the six movies that Fox did in theaters.
