Wife says, "What an interesting Bible!" She's found that some church pastors and elders can be judgmental when trying to get help for some of the issues mentioned in this Bible. She says when she has a "problem" she prays to God for help and asks Him to send the right person to help her. Definitely a Bible worth getting to maybe help some people start their own support group at church with pastor/elder guidance!? Thanks again for your review, she loves your channel and is a former homeschooling mom.

Thanks for sharing. And unfortunately, I agree with you… There are pastors and elders that are certainly a little more judgmental. So I can empathize and sympathize with that comment. !!!!! GREAT TOPIC !!!!! (and needed!!) When I was studying to become a Christian counselor, I got "The Bible for Hope" Caring for People God's Way...put out by Thomas Nelson. (NKJV) I have used it to tatters! This looks very similar, but with updated issues! There was no LGBQ back then.. just homosexuality, and lightly referred to. I gave a copy of the "Hope" bible to a friend of mine that had addiction problems. She said it helped, but truly, it was talking with someone that had God in the heart, and no judgement in the mind that she said worked best...along with the Bible. Christian counselors are a bit different than a pastor/minister.... They are private minded...and truly focused on helping you out of the muck with your dignity intact. (Just looking at an earlier comment here...) A creed I share at the outset is, I believe fully in "Judge not lest ye be judged". Judging is left to Jesus alone..and it MUST be remembered, He is loving and forgiving!!

I’ve watched all of the reviews I could find as well. This one (review) was my favorite as far as being thorough for added insight. Most I’ve seen, by Bible review channels, kind of blew through it. I wish I could have a copy of this as well. I can’t afford it. If that is your situation as well and you feel you need this Bible, pray about it. Prayer first, always😊. I wish a reviewer could gift it to me as well. Keep in mind that they often use the Bibles they are reviewing and this one is a wonderful one to have on hand. Not all reviewers get the Bibles that they review for free. They invest their own money into them. Please know I am not judging. I’m in your spot with this Bible for economic reasons. I'd love a CSB text bible 9.5 pt with the green chp numbers and that nice wide margin. Minus the articles.

Yeah….this Bible actually has pretty nice features on top of the articles. Maybe they’ll make something similar that’s not “life counsel”
