Hi Lauren. Glad I found you online. I have a question for you. I am in my 70s and for the first time, I wanted to learn how to play an acoustic guitar. Recently, I met a guitar teacher in my town and I took 6, half hour lessons from him. I feel like he is going too fast. He gave me 11 cords to learn beginning E minor. I have to use 4 fingers on a few cords. I am comfortable playing with 2 fingers. He thinks I can do it, but I can't. I practice 30 minutes each day but I am not even comfortable using 3 fingers so far. I am frustrated. What should I do? Thank you!

You will be able to do it. But there are extra steps you can take between. I always start students with D Em C and G
