This is so awesome!! Hyper realistic. I did my military service in one of those machines back in 1985 here in Sweden. It really looks, moves and sounds like the original.

Because that's the natural holding position with one hand. I hate it. But keep in mind going vertical is a process, I've recently seen a venue designed that way; everyone was holding up their phone filming, instead of enjoying the show.

what rc turbine engine are you using and it is charging batteries or actually driving the tracks? im designing a 1/6th scale Abrams and I was planning on putting a rc turbine engine in it but I didn't think they would make enough torque to do anything on the tank besides charge the batteries

I dont know what rc turbin it is, the turbine actually driving the tracks. It is a friend of my that build this tank.

I have a question. There is no discernable change in turbine load throughout the maneuvers. Secondly, the drivetrain has [at least] Two electric motors at the front driving the front gearboxes. So my question is this. What does the Turbine do? Generate electricity?

The two electrican motors infron of the S-103 are only for loading and unloading from the car There are also video of that here in my youtube. You also ask about the discernable change in turbine load throughout the maneuvers. The turbin has its rpm, the gearbox takes care of the rest.

Not exactly the whispering death lol. More like mini shrieking banshee. But super cool bit of engineering. It sounds as though much of the noise and flutter is intake related? Air passing over components inside chassis pehaps. Some ducting to a bottom intake would quiet it down a bit i think. My late to the races 2 cents. Anyway nice work.

The real thing, the full size tank wasn't much louder than any tank. It also had a diesel engine for idling and slow speed maneuvering.
