=======================
Time-Warped Reverberator.
Create vast soundscapes with just a few notes from your instrument. Apply mind-bending pitch and harmonic manipulation to your reverb tails, with synth-like filter sweeps. Enter a world of new sounds that blow away the boundaries of what is possible with reverb. With pioneers and adventurous sonic explorers in mind we created a reverb pedal that can go where none have gone before.
Reverberant Synthesis Machine.
NightSky is a reverberant synthesis workstation, and a powerful, hands-on experimental sound design platform. NightSky gives you real-time continuous control of reverb pitch/processing rate/core size, harmonics, and even a synth-like resonant filter with multiple modulation waveshapes, plus a step sequencer with variable glide. You haven’t heard a pedal like this before.

I have yet to see a poor demo of this device. Amazing guitar and keyboards and I am sure whatever you plug into it. Lovely keyboard and synth stuff here...a lot to learn from your fantastic musical ideas. I will be watching this a few times...

The main thing I liked about this video was seeing the interval knob used smoothly - I somehow got the impression from previous videos that it only had the marked positions. I was really confused about why you'd have a 2nd but not a 3rd!

Wow thank you for this. At first I was considering this as a potential companion for Volante, to potentially modernize the still-unbeatable Big sky + Timeline duo. But wow this is such a wild effect entirely on its own, I wonder if trying to use it after a multitap delay might be too much madness... I Hmm... guess there's only one way to find out... for science...

my vintage korg poly 61 (with its one output) is completely transformed. It feels more like parallel processing live rather than just swamping something in reverb, if that makes any sense. omg sounds so rich

Yes. I envy that level of detail this pedal has, especially when I use my BAM. I love the BAM’s tone, and the Hall can feel kinda hi-fi sometimes, but it does not have that level of detail in the space and modulation. It’s definitely a swamper. Lol.

I really seems more like a companion instrument than a reverb half the time, a little weird buddy that plays with you.

Question, does the pedal convert do an entire ADC signal or is some of the original signal left unprocessed? Just wondering how much it would affect the analog signal path from my synth
@strymon
@strymon 3 жыл бұрын
The dry signal is never processed, and a copy of the dry signal is what is used to process and create the wet signal :)

how you conect the nightsky with the eurorack? are they on the same level
@strymon
@strymon 3 жыл бұрын
NightSky cannot accept eurorack signal level. You'll need something like our AA.1 to lower the signal level to line/instrument level before feeding it to NightSky.

Good to see, thanks. It sounds a bit “ringy” on some sounds-but you'll get that also from high end reverbs on certain sounds. Maybe it's just some harmonic content that get exaggerated when run through the unit. Would it be fair to compare this as a hardware version of Soundtoys' Crystallizer? (Also, sorry, shouldn't this be tagged as sponsored? Having the logo on the end seems like it.) : )

I really appreciate the synth demo! I dont know, however, what this pedal is about. It certainly does things but what exactly? I like my Strymons but this gets a pass.
@josephwright5921
@josephwright5921 3 жыл бұрын
It does heavily modulated reverbs with analog style filters, pitch shifters, tremolos, etc . . . It can everything from beautiful to very strange, from what I have heard. Every demo seems to show a different side of this thing.

I usually hate keyboard demos because the origin sound could be anything. Guitar stuff makes sense. I know what that is. That said, this is a good vid for this strange reverbisizer. Still- I'm thinking guitar... Maybe. WTH is it? Best guitar synth ever?
