Can we just stop and appreciate how impressive it is that Stuart followed his father’s foot steps by choice? You only do that whenyour father is a preacher if he is sincere in his faith. Like he really lives it off camera. Most often sons of preachers go the other way because they see hypocrisy. Stuart is proof they both are the real deal and are doing it with full sincerity. Men who live what they believe and truly know what they believe are so incredibly rare. I’m a father of two young boys. Please do a video on scripture and your personal advice and guidance on how to raise two boys to choose to be the kind of man Stuart chose to become. I get you guys are humble so you are hesitant to talk about yourselves but I need to know what you both did right. All A father wants is to see his children love and follow God. From what l learned about forgiveness: when we forgive, it's not giving permission for the offender to hurt us again, it's just saying, l still love you, but God has made it so l don't have to be hurt again . (being hurt here means emotional hurt)
@katierucker28704 ай бұрын
Exactly. A lot of people believe that forgiveness always means reconciliation between the perpetrator and the victim. No, it doesn’t. The forgiveness issue... I was not able to forgive the man who killed my daughter for so long, but after God saved me from a suicide attempt, and I prayed, my God, I prayed!!! I went through a program at the prison to meet him face to face, and only by the power of God the Holy Spirit and after 5 hours in a room with him could I say.. (Which was a shock to me honestly and I hugged this man before I left, that I forgave him and NOW he has to forgive himself). I will tell you years or torture and torment melted away immediately. But you know, one thing I told him was ( he was a drunk driver that killed her). How could I condemn you for something I've done myself!!!! Think about that, have you done similar harm to another, yet you can't forgive another for what they've do e to you? I know there's abuse that's been done that we don't repeat because that's been done to me, too, but sometimes it's the simple things we find hard to forgive. Yes, oh my goodness, there are bad things, and some will NEVER admit to, I have had to forgive that too, but it's that is just like Jesus on the cross.. Forgive them, for they do not know what they do. We may never see them again, but we need to release ourselves from that torment that Satan wants us to hold on to, because forgiveness is not so much for them, but it releases us from the bandage Satan hold us in and I can attest to so much if that. Forgive my brother and sister, it is for a release of your own suffering and bandage, by the enemy to allow God and the Holy Spirit to work so much through you. I don't know if anyone will read this, but I do pray it can help someone struggling

I have such a hard time with forgiveness. I love Jesus, but I am struggling. I am open to eventually forgiving, but does that mean I have to have them in my life? Even if they never apologize, that is fine, I just want them to not be in my life. Does that mean that I never forgave in the first place? Hypothetically, if I were to allow those people who have hurt me back into my life and they hurt me again, am I supposed to just forgive and forget? And to keep taking the pain? I don’t understand it at all
@kero0611Ай бұрын
No, forgiving someone doesn’t mean you have to have them in your life. Forgiving someone meaning if you see them in public you are not triggered about the wrong they committed against you. For example, a burning fire, it will burn you if you touch it but you still use it to cook clean and for warmth. Doesn’t mean you have to have a fire lit 24 hours only when you need it. But you learn not to touch it because it will burn you. Does that make sense hope it does. But no you should not allow someone who hurt you or is a bad influence into your daily life because you forgive them but simply do not hold a grudge if they say hi to you say hi back but doesn’t mean you have to hang out with them. Also doesn’t mean you block them on socials that is still holding a grudge just don’t follow.

Energy cannot be created or destroyed and only transferred/transformed. Humans have a physical body (in natural realm), spiritual body (in spiritual realm), and soul (bridge between the two). When the human's physical body dies, their soul/spirit (energy with unique signature) either temporarily goes to current 3rd heaven and is alive/kinetic, or to Hades and is asleep/potential.
@katierucker28704 ай бұрын
I’ve started to think of a lukewarm person as someone who was never born again. They never had a heart transformation by Christ. Just because a believer stumbles in sin, doesn’t make them lukewarm, per se. if you are born again, take comfort in the fact that Jesus will not spit you out of His mouth. If you are born again, you cannot lose your salvation. Someone who is lukewarm might think of Jesus as the “cool guy”, but never had a personal relationship with Him because they want to live their lives however they want to. They never had a heart transformation. They’ll go to church and they might get baptized, but won’t apply Christ’s teachings to themselves because they don’t believe it applies to them. That is why Jesus calls this certain group of people out. Not because they are believers stumbling into sin, but people who are not born again and will behave in the sense that Christ does not apply to them even if they like the idea of Him. Lukewarm is an indifference towards Christ.

Can I ask a question? And if im wrong please correct me. I’m no theologian , I’ve struggled with an understanding If we are to be born again of the spirit.. and Jesus was born of a woman. And we become Christian’s when we get the Holy Spirit. Are we not born of the Holy Spirit? And wouldn’t that make the Holy Spirit feminine in nature or characteristic. Obviously not having female body parts. Like the father doesn’t have genitalia but He is a father masculine. Wouldn’t the Holy Spirit be feminine like our spiritual mother? Otherwise I don’t see how women can be made in the imagine of God or how when they enter the kingdom they would retain their femine energy and character.. ie all the things that make them awesome. I know if I get to heaven and my mother is my Dad and my wife is my brother I’m gonna be really bummed out. And we know a father loves his daughters as much as he loves his sons. And we know eve was cleaved from Adam separating out the feminine from him. Because Jesus was perfect and took or needed no wife. So I assume he had both aspects inside him whole un separated as with Adam and Eve. And we know Jesus is the replacement Adam . Idk if I’m being a heretic someone tell me. I just can’t imagine 3 persons in our God and half the world are his daughters and not one of those persons is feminine in nature or character in the same sense the father is masculine. I ask the answer given is direct please. And please address if I’m wrong how women can retain their femine energy in heaven if they bring a thing God does not have. We all love our mothers, sisters, wives, daughters. Because they’re femine or females. ( possessing femine virtues and traits, think everything you learned from your mother and all the beautiful traits your wife has that as a man we can barely even understand. ) We as Christian’s focus so much on the masculine aspects of God but God must have a feminine or half the best parts of humanity do not exist in him. And thus half of what we call the image of God in us is not in him. And I can’t accept that. Is it wrong to see the Holy Spirit as feminine in essence the same way the father is masculine in essence? And if it is how do we expect women to feel good about that? If it was reversed I’d feel rejected by God because I’d feel as though all the best parts of my character and capacity for love and my thinking even would be left out of the trinity. I mean there is the giant female mother sized whole in this puzzle and we all just pretend it’s not there by saying Holy Spirit is He. God all together is He as Father is head in charge but really imagine if it was mother and daughter instead of father son and they embodied all the feminine traits you don’t have and can’t even understand. Wouldn’t you struggle to understand why you aren’t the glory of any part of a three person God ( a lot of opportunities). But inly the glory of your fellow human being . Another thing Jesus never said. Only Paul said his opinion on the matter. Paul had no wife and no daughters . I think he’s unqualified to give his opinion on women myself. Jesus did have daughters and entire universe of them. And we know how much he loves his daughters . Why does this seem so obvious to me but I must be wrong because no denomination sees this .
@katierucker28704 ай бұрын
The Bible clearly states in Genesis that God created male and female, and that He created both to be in His image (spiritual personality and moral likeness). He didn’t create them to be a physical likeness of Him. This doesn’t contradict God becoming a Man without sin, though. Also the Bible refers to the Holy Spirit as He and never She. God is a He, but not in the sense of having genitals. Only God the Son became a sinless human, not the Father or the Holy Spirit, but they are coequal to one another. Not one of the Persons of the Holy Trinity is greater or better than the other. They are coequal and coeternal together as one God only. There will still be males and females in heaven when we are physically resurrected when Christ comes back. I know it can be hard to understand, but just know that God loves men and women equally. The Bible teaches us there are no favorites to God. God has lovingly created men and women to complement one another and be equal to each other. We have different roles to play, but that doesn’t make us unequal.
@Dgujg4 ай бұрын
@@katierucker2870 the original words for Holy Spirit are feminine in Greek and Hebrew. I understand no genitalia. Just the character or essence being feminine like we understand the father to be masculine and wisdom to be feminine in the Bible. Why is. It easy for us to understand The father is masculine but not male and struggle to say ruach or pnuema spirit is feminine but not female. Other languages have this understanding built into them. Slavery in Biblical times is different than what we know as “Modern” slavery. Slavery in biblical time was used for someone needed to repay a debt. Even God commands to not mistreat those slaves. He also heard the cries of slaves being mistreated by Pharaoh in Exodus and set them free. Slavery like with The Atlantic Slave Trade or even human/Child sex trafficking clearly goes against Gods commandments. We are called to not steal, and shall not covet (Meaning we should not be taking anything such as FREEDOM from anybody ) in which the modern slavery of what we first think of goes against Gods will.

After Adam and Eve broke God's trust and got booted from the Garden of Eden, most humans back then were incapable of seeing/living life the way many humans see/live it today. Spankings and diapers were the only option back then for most, but haven't been for over 2,000 years. God has always desired for humans to start and grow genuine, healthy relationship with Him and each other.

Doesn't give people a bad impression of God if we disassociate from family members all at once, when JESUS said: 'Father forgive them, they know not what they do'?
