Here's how to repair these stucco mixers, • Stucco or mortar mixer...
Hello, my friends; today, I’m going to show you how to mix stucco in a towable stucco machine.
They make a wide variety of mortar mixers.
Such as Essex, Whiteman, Stow, and many others.
I’ll show you how I used to mix when I was a Hod Carrier.
Multiquip 9 cu. ft. 8HP Steel Drum Honda Mortar Mixer.
Essick 12 cu. ft. Mechanical Masonry Mixer.
I would recommend Rapid Set Stucco sold at all Home Depots and Lowes. All you do is add water.
Note that this cement plaster sets very fast and extremely hard, so ensure you read the instructions thoroughly, my friend.

Like the set control product for hot weather for more time factor. Those shear bolts /pins have a crease on the upper thread so when they tighten they snap at the crease . saved a lot of rebuilds!!

My mom came in in 1942 during the war, she was French, she spoke, Italian, German and protégées also, Leaning English was tougher, so much in fat that few of my friends understood her. Good evening crucibull, thank you. I would recommend the 3 to 1 mix as most of my projects are. With brick just go a skim coat or in other words a single coat anywhere from 3/8 to half inch thick, of course you’ll lose a bunch in the grout, but such is life. Best wishes and have a good evening. Many contractors here still do this today.

Kirk, why don't you invent one of these mixers on air lift and it gets on the ground when you get on the step bar, so you don't have to lift up the bag as far, and not breath the dust. Then when it gets ready to drop on the other side in the wheel barrel it jumps up to the right level.... Insurance industry would love it - less wear and tear on the workers backs and less lung respiratory infections.

People used to seal stock tanks (watering troughs) with stucco/morter. I am trying to figure out how to do this now. Can you give me some guidance on how to mix the batch? I will be using a larger sized cement mixer, as that is what I have. Thanks in advance.

Bradley Parker We clean between mixes, or at the end of the day take a hammer to bang out the dried on material. But we don't use a rental and it's a metal drum. You can do the same with plastic, just be careful not to damage the plastic drum.

Howdy Ludwig, good question, most stucco and concrete mixes use Portland cement as a binder, for example. Concrete is used for driveways, sidewalks, bridges, etc. Concrete mixes rocks with the Portland cement, thus, because of the rocks, can’t be applied by hawk and trowel to any wall. Stucco combines fine sand with Portland cement, thus can be applied to walls as it's like a peanut butter consistency, no rocks in it. O.K., here's the tricky part, many names for the same thing. The terms or names are Cement Plaster, Stucco, Mortar, Mud in the US, in the UK, names for Exterior Stucco among others are Render and Muck. Kirk giordano plastering
