Random question because I was curious I looked at both Trinity and Jesus. They both offer Engineering for example so what is the difference between Trinity college and Jesus college and deciding which to go to? I guess I’m also not used to the colleges inside the university thing either. In the United States you typically have a university and it is one entity no smaller colleges inside of the bigger university. You have your degree program such as math physics engineering etc.

@@nicolad8822 it was really just a question about what is the difference in each college because they seemingly offer the same things. I used engineering because both offered it. I am not interested in attending there I was just curious.

All students of the same degree e.g. engineering attend the same lectures, tutorials etc regardless of college. The Colleges is more of a community: where you live, places to eat, socialise and meet new people, provide pastoral and academic support. Trinity and Jesus for example admit people from all courses.
