50過ぎのオッサンが唐揚げ丼に挑戦しました。とても美味しく何とか完食！晩御飯はいらなかったです。 部活帰りの女子学生も普通にべろりとと平らげていました。どのメニューも安くてボリューム満点ですね。

I know it's a lot of carbs. And it's fried. But OMG the dishes are still minimally processed, cooked fresh to order, look damn YUM and is better value than a McD's "value" meal at $7-10. Lucky boys!

The system for their restaurant is so clever, for lunchtime they provide a bento for students and allowing for people to take awat food also gives the staff to prepared for the night. They even change the staff to male dominant since rush hour in the night

The thing is, lunch time is so much shorter (around 1.5 hours) because people will have to get back to work/school, so serving take away is better than dine in (obviously because customer will queue up for the seats).

I respect Japanese people for making everything fresh so much. Unlike here in the US where so much food is processed. You can see they put a lot of effort and work into every dish. That's love being poured into the food right there. I'm also surprised they give so much for food for so little. like $5-6 US. Over here the same thing probably cost at least $15-20.

Small Western restaurant owners, take notes. This is how you should treat your customers. Being a college student, they don't have a lot of money, but they do have BIG appetites. That much food at a little price makes students keep coming back and bringing their friends with them. And, the owner greets each customer, young or old, at the door before they leave is a nice touch and good business sense. It makes them keep coming back. I would.
