It may seem opportunistic but I think it's important that people see the real aftermath so that real action can be taken to make sure this doesn't happen anymore. It's one thing to see children walking out of the school from a helicopter shot, it's another thing to hear children talk about seeing the dead bodies of their classmates bleeding on the floor as they walk past them. There's another interview with a child who was in a room that the shooter fired into and although he was composed (in shock) The tragedy of what he witnessed and will have to endure emotionally in the aftermath made me cry.....like ugly cry. My child was late to school one day during his senior year and when he arrived the police had already surrounded the building because there was a shooter inside that they had just apprehended. I feel this with my whole heart, and I think everybody else needs to feel it with their whole heart too.

Exactly! Like it’s a “hot topic” and “breaking news” so we need commentary right away hot off the press. I wonder what would happen if we start charging the superintendent and the city officials of the local school districts for failing to put in proper protection against these murders??The big question is, what was put in place to stop this or try to minimize or prevent these situations? For example were there metal detectors on-site, police, are bags being checked before entrance? I mean nothing is gonna 100% stop it but let’s try our best as a community to deter someone from even thinking about doing it because of the measurement put into place….😢 ver sad may those precious souls RIP. The young man said one of the shooters. He said it twice. He said " the FBI had one shooter in custody, and when I looked to left side on the floor I saw one of the shooters." Did anyone ask him do you know of another shooter? Instead of we only know of one shooter. You be surprise to what teenagers know. For instance, when the shooter left the classroom and then came back to the door with a gun in his hand, wanting to get back inside the classroom. Where did he go to get that gun and did he interact with another student. Could be two involved.

'Shooter' is a person who uses a gun either regularly or on a particular occasion. Maybe this student saw the 'shooter' talking with some other student around the time and think that 'other' have something to do with the shooting. At this point, police saw 'one' person with the weapon and is assuming that there is one only... until they extensively interview the 'shooter' will know if he acted alone or there are more people envolved in planning the shooting.

Man SHUT UP! When a shooting happens, the arrest multiple people. He didn't say he saw multiple shooters since he didn't even see a gun or the actual shooting. He saw a person in handcuffs and call him one of the shooters. None of the other people said anything about a back and forth and one of them even heard the kid getting chased. Multiple shooters would have no affect in hiding anything in this situation other than the police being the ones that shot the students trying to get the shooter.

Another school year here we go again things happening a lot of politics and a lot of people will come out and talk and say we have to do better but they don’t wasting money on stuff that don’t even concern us that’s what the politicians like to do where are all the metal detectors on every single door in a school? Where are the arm guards that are supposed to be inside the school? I know that’s tough and we shouldn’t live that way but this is what they teach us how to live. How can kids ever go back into that school and worried that this is not going to happen again? Because this is the same story we hear every year. Sometimes it’s better to keep your kid at home and school him at home. This must come to an end one way or the other. People we need to help stand up and get ready to fight. Fight for every school in the United States of America have metal detectives and every single door. Every student must go through them before come in the school. The other stuff I know it’s hard but we need arm guards in the school when this starts. They ended quick. It’s a shame to live this way, but there’s no other way to do it as you see talk does not work. Gun control does not work. You can go on the Internet and order a gun right away. But it takes forever for them to bring my groceries. To the family my condolences.
