We just saw The Swell Season last night in Chicago. They were absolutely brilliant. It was truly a magical experience. It was a sold out Roosevelt University Auditorium Theater, that holds 3962 people. My wife and I are going through some tough times right now and this was a magical night for us.

over the years i have heard this song so many times, sung along with the band in many gigs, but it still makes the hairs on my neck stand up. im so glad glen mar and the boys are doing so well in the states.

Yes top 5 indeed,. Try imagining him playing that song with Mic on those heedy nights about a decade ago to about 70 people in a stuffed heat room with the sound of cars/motorbikes passing by outside for effect. Feck what a time! What a talent!

I'm trying to find a version of this that was recorded on Irish Radio - maybe today FM on a new years evening show, it had bongo drums no piano and was EPIC. If anyone knows can you send me a message here or comment back. Cheers
