It must have been a nightmare getting a drink with only one modest size bar, or maybe there were many bar staff. I was in New York on holiday from the UK and struck a conversation with a woman in her sixties who told me of her clubbing days at 54 could tell even tho she was in her 60s now she still had that vibe I was so engrossed in our conversation was one of the most interesting 2 hours I've ever spent in great company. Stella said to me if I'm ever in New York again, we should meet up. This was five years ago, well I intend to visit New York this year, and I hope I do meet Stella again.

Amazing work! And ... much as I remember it. If you stood in front of the *huge* bass "bins" at the sides of the dance floor, when the woofers "snapped" back to their resting positions before the next push "out" for the bass, they literally sucked the air out of your lungs. Not completely of course, but enough that you felt the effects; I had to move away from them, the bass being that powerful. hahahaha! What isn't obvious, but is there in your CGI work, is the "moving" catwalk - usually stationary in front of the animated-neon-"fan" at the back of the stage, that could move over the dance floor. The light "trees" and the JBL bullet tweeters were all flown in and out manually. The poor guy with his dual ear "muffs" and microphone-production headset was a very busy guy at the rigging/ropes. I *loved* watching the DJ and lighting tech up in the overhead "pod" suspended (pole supported) to your left as you come into the club. Again, thank you very much for this; I admire your work "abrmedia". You're talented!
@cddjny3 жыл бұрын
The moving cat walk was called the Bridge, and you could only enter it when the bridge was in a certain position than the two side gates would open up and transport you front to back back to front across the dance floor until it returns to that spot and the side gates open again. Many entertainers perform there, including Diana Ross and many others
