to anyone watching this in 2019 when i saw the theme song I cried like holy heck i haven’t seen it in so long and i miss the old cast and- like don’t get me wrong i love the new cast and all the musicals they do is a theatre nerds dream and ugh it’s amazing, but the theme song really gave me all the feels :’)

I agree, everybody hates on the new cast, I think they're funny and kind and talented people, and just because they were left with ENORMOUS shoes to fill, doesn't mean that we should be cruel to them. I love the old ones, but they aren't there anymore and some people just need to accept that.

They may not be as good as the original, but maybe if you stopped comparing them and stopped moping around, you could see the dedication and work and effort that goes into each and every sketch. Just because they're newer, and just because they're different, doesn't make them bad. You only think they're bad because you compare them to the ogs, but if you looked at them in a different light, maybe you could see how talented, funny, kind and amazing the new cast is. And if you don't like them after that, fine. But you don't have to go around talking about how you don't like them and lowering their self esteem. Sorry if I seem harsh, but I needed to get my point across. At least TRY to look at them differently.
