Sounds like Moog and Juno had a baby and the 2600 was in the closet wearing a spiderman outfit.

lol i wouldn't be surprised, since the original SE1 was a moog "clone" and they also made one with Roland

Hah! Perhaps you jest, but I have two of those in my studio and I am constantly using them. They are actually pretty great for synths (and drum machines). Not perfect, but for the price, they are excellent. I can't find the *exact* stand I'm using on Amz, but I see something labeled--horribly--a "DESIGNA Metal Mesh Ventilated Adjustable Laptop Stands Computer Notebook Holder Stand Riser" which is basically the same thing.

Misleading comment. Anyone who knows computer software at all knows it's ran by hardware called a computer and you have to upgrade your hardware (computer) every few years to be able to *properly* run the software. Especially as they are able to make software so much more powerful year after year. I've seen many people spend $1500 to $3500 evey 3 to 5 years to be able to stay current and properly run the software. Then you have the cost of the software which almost always has monthly rent built into it. Then you have to pay extra for all the plug-ins. Then all you're doing is sitting staring at a screen clicking a mouse. I would much rather play an instrument.
