Reacting to this themes was a such a great journey, a shoutout to ‪@Royicahn‬ for requesting Library of Ruina over Patreon. LoR soundtrack is getting more and more interesting the more songs I discover, we even had a multi-boss fight today! This ost deserves a lil' bit more recognition for sure!

Each member of the reverb ensemble presents his instrument on the lower floors (Asiyah) Philip - Cello Eileen - Harp Gretta - percussion Bremen - Horn, Trumpet and Trombone middle floors (Brian) Oswald - Clarinet Tanya - Viola Ji-hoon - Second Violin Upper Floors (Atziluth) Pluto - Organ Elena is the First violin Argalia acts as the conductor of the ensemble. Very few people use Netzach to begin with. When they do, his floor theme is overriden either entirely or before you get to tier III, e.g. abno fights and Ensemble.

Reminder as always, these themes are meant to loop. That is why the abrupt end, is meant to start again. The Reverb Enssemble is not just 4 bosses, is 10 bosses in a row, some shares themes. For Fun let me try and list them by section, these are the titles of the bosses: First Part - Asiyah: The Crying Children, The Church of Gears, The Eight Chef, The Musicians of Bremen. Second Part - Briah: The 8 o'clock Circus, The Puppeter, The Loure le Loup. Third Part - Atziluth: Yesterday's Promise, Blood Red Night Final Part - Argalia: The Blue Reverberation. Just for Context. The Reverberation Ensemble Boss Rush... is just the Start of the climax in the game, from here on is non-stop epicness.

My absolute favorite amongst the themes we have here would be Tiphereth's theme. The violin and piano go hard, and the ascending and descending of the notes really hit the spot for me~ The one thing I love the most, though, would be her character's themes: Hope, and the Expectation for the Meaning of Existence. In the world of Library of Ruina, and by extension Lobotomy Corporation and Limbus Company, Hope is such a nice thing to see from the characters, when the world itself is generally very grim, violent, and apathetic. Most of the residents of the City live hopeless lives, trying desperately to survive. Through her experiences, which I won't go into detail to avoid spoilers, she found a reason to hope. To hope that good things will come in the future. To hold expectations for others, because she trusts them. To believe her life has meaning, that is, to be there for the people she cares about. Her and my boi Netzach have really nice lessons, towards life and having a hopeful outlook towards it~

Malkuth is the patron librarian of History. She specialises in immolation, hugs, and BEEEEES. My god. Bees. Yesod is the patron librarian of Technological Sciences. The technology is blunt damage and the science is unga bunga. Lament. Hod is the patron librarian of the Doki Doki Literature Club. She uses exanguination and spiders to hurt a little girl who has Done Absolutely Nothing Wrong. Netzach is the patron librarian of Art. Alcohol, LSD, and cocaine makes him fucking invincible. Tiphereth is the patron librarian of Natural Sciences. Occasionally cosplays as a magical girl to use the power of hate and despair to commit violence against clowns (based).

The first 5 themes were floor/librarian themes, they're your characters fighting on their own floor of the library. Each theme has 3 phases and those change alongside the emotional level of the battle; the fiercer the fight, the more excited everyone gets. The Reverberation Ensemble is a last ditch effort to take down the library by attacking all 10 floors simultaneously and the theme voluntarily sounds like a never ending ascension because you're tasked to defend each floor from the bottom to the very top of the library. It's epic and exhilarating, and very exhausting.

for non ProMoon Fans or those without context all of these theme are the theme of the Head Librarian of each floor you control and the "Pianist is killing it", name of a monster in the universe is The Pianist, who killed a lot of people turning them into melody in a literal sense and playing music with the people killed Librarian Section, and the mood they give Malkuth, History Section, Peppy and Cheery Yesod, Technology Section, Cold, Calm and Neat Hod, Literature Section, Quiet, Kind, Chill.....but also deadly in a way :) Netzach, Art Section, Groove, maybe a bit drunk, maybe more of process of waking up Tiphereth, Natural Science Section, Judgement, Beauty, yet lonely like grieving for something

The concept of the gameplay for Library of Ruina is to play as the literal boss. You are the dungeon master and you order your bosses and its minions to destroy the visiting heroes. You play as the big threat that must be defeated. May you find your book in this place. EDIT: I don't intend to spoil but, The Reverberation Ensemble is a group of 10 supervillains working together trying to replace you, divided into 4 sections, 4 lesser villains, 3 medium villains, 2 very dangerous villains, and their leader. Each character is represented with an instrument, and their leader is also their "Ensemble director".

Someone mentioned the themes being for normal battles, and Jhulian mentioned during Tiphereth that it sounds very "final bosslike". For those interested, the ACTUAL final boss themes are "Distorted Reverberation Ensemble" and "Head Eye Claw"

Aww, although you done Gebura and Binah themes, you seem to not have done Hokma and Chesed’s theme. Not to sad since the lor music construction is wierd. Like another persons post, each theme represent the personality of people and the last one being a boss theme but still characters the group they represent with the song. Not gonna say more for whoever want to play the game and not want spoilers.

So cool thing is these are actually themes for your characters (specifically some of the “*name* battle theme” songs). You send send specific squads to fight in this game and each of these squads have their theme. And each “phase” of the song is actually the battle getting more intense. It’s awesome when it happens ingame~

all of the themes, except for the reverberation ensemble's themes, are the theme songs of the various floors of your own library! the library is comprised of several floors, each dedicated to a particular topic and the patron librarian that manages that department. malkuth, yesod, hod, netzach, and tiphereth manage history, technological sciences, literature, art, and natural sciences respectively. there are more! gebura for language, chesed for social sciences, binah for philosophy, hokma for religion, and roland for general works. these characters are your allies, and you will see them quite often as you play the game.

When we fight with Reverberation ensemble, we literally fight with Ensemble and each theme represents an instrument which they play in each part (they split themselves into a 3 groups for each theme and Argalia part is solo him). Argalia is the main guy in that musicians group, that is why he's theme is specific and storytelling, and where plays a lot of instruments (almost all of them). So, no Angela didn't represent in that theme with Violin

My favourite theme is definitely the Tipheret's theme. The opulence, the glory, the grandeur. Every time I hear this theme, I imagine in my mind a wondrous scene: An arena, enshrouded in the opulence of gold. Not pompous, not for show, but to capture the glorious event that is taking place among these halls. Two sides, locked in glorious a battle to the death. The rewards offered are too great to hesitate. !!!DRAMA!!!

Bloodletting is one of Hod's floor specializations. And those crazy piano drops in second part create a vision of a bleeding enemy. About small number of views: those themes are newly uploaded. Old LoR music videos from another KZbin channels have hundreds of thousands views, even millions. Some of them are Gebura and Binah themes from another LoR OST reaction video (with those annoying claps between phases). Anyway, great reaction! PM's fanbase is eating good nowadays.

The thing with Library of Ruina's soundtrack (and the game in general) is that it keeps on one-upping itself into oblivion. Every theme is so good that each one seems like the finale! And when you realize that things like the Reverb theme was underfunded and rushed its even more impressive!! And all from a small studio with a very limited budget and playerbase!!!

This isn't an actual recorded music. And once again, these aren't battle themes for fighting a certain character, these are generic battle themes for fighting anyone depending on the floor you choose. Except Reverberation. And the thing about it is that there aren't 4 bosses which have these 4 themes, there is in fact 10 bosses and Asiyah theme is used for 4 of them, Briyah is for 3, Atziluth is for 2, and Argaila is actually the name of the last boss. This is indeed a fight which is very far into the game, but it's not the final fight, even though it makes you think that it would be when you play it.
