Hi Adriana, such amazing looking jewelry that you create! I need to watch more videos on the creation process as I still have so many questions about how you do everything! I'm glad you're getting more safety devices to help with your breathing and lungs and to ensure no bad chemical smells aren't around your work environment! Keep wearing those safety glasses, so your eyes stay 110% out of harms way! All the best and amazing jewelry again! Keep up your hustle, you're going to be rich and famous one day and a CEO of your own giant brand! Thanks, Brian

Great work! Although i have to say, that i am a bit concerned with the height of the table with the furnace and casting table etc. To me it seems unsave to have things at shoulder height. Were you to drop something your upper body is exposed and that it still has a way to go until it hits the floor. Plus you have less control if you handle at that angle. And please put the fire extinguisher behind you on the floor, so you don't have to reach across the wooden table to get it.

I might have to order that extractor I spend a lot of time soldering!!! I mostly do chain but Playing with a ring design you inspired me to try! I love your texture style! I’m playing with an ingot poured into a wood mold for the texture… wish me luck 🍀 really enjoy your work !

Hi thanks for another great video. When I weigh my wax I calculate it by 10.1 and that gives me an amount that includes a nice button. I started using this when my WiFi was down and needed united precious metals karat/wax calculator 😂 I absolutely love your studio set up. I have everything in a 12x12 ft room and now I’m having to set up in my garden shed for the extra space for equipment. Keep up the good work and the hard work you put into it. I know how much work is needed to put into a simple basic cast. Everything has to be perfect because if it’s not it can have a snowball effect and only ruins the end product. Well done and keep them video coming. 🏴

@@MiteraMade no problem. When I said shed, I should of said a tiny building made out of breeze blocks, that will survive the weather and makes it safe and secure. 🙂🙂 take good care and see you in the next video

Hi, love the videos. I'm about to start playing with casting but im curious how do you decide to use .999 silver or sterling silver? Where do you get the copper to mix with the silver if you do want to go sterling route?

Awesome video, I've been binge watching and I'm almost ready to get back to my sculpture :) Im making rubber molds from a plasticine sculpture and then I have to find a medium between plaster and cement (all I know is it has a dark base color and the detailed areas are light like a frosted cruller ) to cast my finished pieces in....The first molds I ever made everything went surprisingly well so its disheartening when things go wrong and you have 6 mths work on a pour...:( You and Tom and Isaac should move to South Algonquin in ontario canada if you decide to move again (its between the capital of ontario Toronto and the capital of canada Ottawa...Theres a store/home right down town that would be a cool studio/home ...Bancroft is a northern town vibe away from busy city life I'm between whitney and manooth...

Thank you for watching and wishing your luck on your molds! 🎉 we have never been to that side of Canada but recently went to Banff and the national parks in that area for the first time, one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen. 🥲 I do think though, if we moved again, I’d choose a place a bit warmer lol

I love your work! I have been working on building up wax on the same mandrel that you use in your videos but for some reason my rings always break when I try to take them off the mandrel. If you have and ideas of how to have them stick less or not break that would be much appreciated:)
@MiteraMade6 ай бұрын
Thank you!! Hmmm, my first thought is maybe your rings are a bit too thin, but I’ve made some pretty thin ones lol. Do you lay down some scotch tape? If not that helps a ton! 🙏🏻 make sure you let the ring fully cool before you pull it off, just a few minutes, and use equal pressure all around 🙏🏻 I hope that helps 🥹

I got my first piece back from the casters today, is it better to polish before or after setting the stones? 😁
@MiteraMade6 ай бұрын
That’s so exciting!!! 🎉🎉 I always sand and polish up to the point of polishing with compounds and then set the stones and then finish it off with the compounds! ☺️ every now and then, after setting the stone, I’ll need to file away and dents or shape up prongs and do a little more sanding around the setting but, I find it just saves me time. Plus I’m always eager to see it a little shiny. 🙈 BUT definitely always polish the inside of your setting as best as you can before setting your stone, it will help it reflect light and sparkle better 🙏🏻

The rings were good. But I thought that the person who made the casting use the master ( wax ring) to make the rubber molding and use it to do the wax injection to make a series of rings. But they said that they use the master and it was destroyed. Is this true? 😊

The only difference in the two is the amount your able to produce. 💜 With making molds of the work you’ve already created, you can more likely keep up with any demand.
