Welcome to another Studio Vlog! This one was filmed from 21st October to the end of November, and in it we will see the seasons gradually changing from autumn to winter. I filmed little bits and pieces throughout the month, including drawings I've been working on, countryside walks with Dominic, the changing view from the studio window, new art supplies arriving in the post, and then a good ol' swatching session in my sketchbook! I hope you enjoy it.

So bittersweet! I binged all your vlogs because I love them so much, but now I’m out of vlogs!! I want to thank you, these are so relaxing, anti-anxiety, and have already inspired a ton of art creation! You are awesome!

I'm so pleased that you've enjoyed them, Mags! I'm actually going to be positing another vlog sometime soon - I have a couple of videos lined up before that one, but I've already started filming for it. Thrilled that they have inspired your own art creation too!

Wow Natasha, what a beautiful part of England you live in, I can't think of anything more relaxing than going for a nice stroll in the countryside and getting some of that fresh air in your lungs. And those beautiful views from your window, they are so breathtaking, fog is such a magical wonder of nature. And your artwork is just as amazing and so inspiring.

I woke up here in NY to grey drizzle. Hot Coffee in hand, I happily found your always relaxing vlog and savored every minute of your walks, your oh-so-British views. I live vicariously through your art hauls! I did order a set of six Derwent Drawing Pencils. I fell in love with their versatility and can’t wait to add more colors. Thank you Natasha!

Hi Linda, I'm so pleased that you enjoyed the vlog! We've been on some beautiful walks recently - one of my favourite (through woodland up to the top of Leith Hill) I actually didn't film because I just wanted to be be fully in the moment and enjoying it. But we may go back there soon and I'll film it next time as it would be great to share it! Aren't the Derwent Drawing Pencils lovely?! So glad that you bought some and hope you're able to add to your collection soon. :)

I can whole-heartedly recommend the full 24 set of Derwent Drawing Pencils especially since your work is in landscapes. I use mine extensively both by themselves and over watercolours since they have a lovely matte finish instead of the shiny finish coloured pencils leave. The 24 colours in the set are all naturals and neutrals and lend themselves beautifully for animal and landscape works. The white is also the best white I've found in coloured pencils and layer easily over other media.

Thanks so much for leaving this comment, Sigrún! It's good to hear you recommending the pencils so highly. I found the 24 set the other day at a good price online, so I ordered them as a Christmas present to myself! They've arrived and I've had a quick look at the tin but I haven't opened them as I'm going to save them for Christmas. Such a beautiful colour palette and I'm so excited to use them! I'll be making a video about them after Christmas. Great to hear your opinion, thank you!

Loved the misty morning shots from your studio. I live in Oregon and we’ve had thick fog like that every morning this week. And thank you for your vlogs! I love getting to see your work and get a glimpse of artist life. Your techniques are interesting - you’ve inspired me to experiment with more texture effects. Love checking out your new art supplies too. 😊

Thank you! It's so lovely to hear that I've inspired you to experiment with texture. I keep thinking about making a video about this, sharing some techniques. I shared with my art process club how I use Holbein Acryla Gouache to make texture in my landscape paintings, but maybe a pencil/pen textures video could be a nice idea for the channel? Oregon looks so beautiful from what I've seen (I've never visited) - lucky you!

Selfishly I’d love to see video about different texture techniques. I’m always looking for ideas on how to add interest and hopefully put my own unique twist on it. Thanks again for your videos!

Every time I watch one of your vlogs my art wishlist grows. Who knew you could get pastel pencils? I've not used pastels for 20 years and don't really use any type of drawing medium but now I feel like I must! ;) It can be quite intimidating to get into a new style or medium, especially when there's an overwhelming amount of options out there so your swatching and testing, plus showing how you've used them in your art is really helpful.

I'm so pleased that you find these types of videos helpful! Most of the art supplies I've bought over the past few months have been because I've seen other artists using them online. I don't know how it's taken me this long to really get into drawing but I can't imagine not doing it now!

Hi Christina, thank you! You've inspired me to buy the full set of Derwent Drawing Pencils! I'd been thinking about it for a while, and was waiting until I saw them on a good offer somewhere. Then yesterday, as if by magic, a small unexpected royalty payment came in AND I saw the pencils for a good price at Pullingers art shop online, so I took the plunge! They're my Christmas present to myself and I'll be sure to make a video all about them when I test them for the first time. xx

Natasha, not sure if you know or not, but on your fb page, a link to your website on 28 November I think, has Natasha spelled incorrectly so it just goes to an error screen and not your website. I had to go to Google and type in Natasha correctly to get to your website. Your artwork is so stunning. It's no wonder I like your artwork and the lino printing artist you bought from as your work is a similar kind of style. Every bit of your work is beautiful. Justbso hard to choose one piece when they are all so gorgeous.

Thank you for letting me know, I've corrected it now! I'm so pleased that you like my artwork. I'm experimenting a lot at the moment and it's exciting to see where this new path will lead. :)

Hey lovely!! Finally catching up on your vlogs! I have had my eye on your work for my 40th in Feb... I loved these drawings but they are sold out (which is GREAT for you obvs!!)... Do you think there'll be anything more coming before Feb? (Maybe I should watch the video first just in case you say in there!!). I mentioned to Joe that I would LOVE some original art for my 40th and your stuff is just what I would like! :-) I hope you guys are doing well! Happy December! xxx

Lovely to hear from you again, Lucy! I know that you've been super busy with your work over the past few months! I hope it's all going well and that both you and Joe are staying safe and healthy. I feel really honoured that you'd like a piece of my artwork for your 40th, thank you so much. :) The new landscapes do seem to be selling quickly and I'm trying to add more pieces to the shop regularly. There will definitely be more coming soon! I could give you a heads up next time I have some new pieces, if you like? Just in case there's anything you fancy! Sending love to you both. xxx

Just by being here and being a part of the community, you've joined the art club! It's not a 'formal' club - just a gathering of like-minded artistic people. 🧡 If you'd like to share your work, the hashtag is #slowartistsclub on Instagram. :)

Only true artists have what it takes to be scruffy! ;) I found out recently that my ”painting dress” was actually originally my grandmother’s confirmation dress. I was slightly terrified that my mum gave it to me as a painting coat! But now i’m embracing its new role. Better to become scruffy with art and have a new life, than lie forgotten in a closet. :)

I totally agree, and I think that's rather lovely! :)
