Beautiful colors! I really recommend you water soluble pencils. I think you’d love the inktense by derwent. They come in beautiful colors (nothing garish) and when dry they are permanent which is wonderful to layer. Other beautiful ones are the Albrecht Duhrer by Faber Castell, these ones when wet they work just like watercolors and the color selection is as well amazing. Finally the museum aquarelle by Caran d ache are also amazing, these ones are a bit more opaque when dry, which is wonderful to creat under painting to later work with color pencil on top.

Just starting with the video and yes sticky labels on the pencils are such a nightmare. I need to peel mine off too from my derwent lightfast. I got 4 colours to test them out as well but I have the feeling I like my polychromos, luminance and Holbein coloured pencils more. Oh and I have the same problem with them. My dark colour is really creamy. It is deep rose. On the other hand my dusky pink and my flesh pink is scratchy a bit. So they might have this issue as well with some colours same as the luminance have some scratchy colours.

Hi Carrianne! I'm so pleased that you're enjoying the videos, thank you! The Derwent Drawing pencils are quite different to the Lightfast. Lovely video but I have complaints about Derwent Lightfast. I've been using them a lot since the beggining of 2021 and it's been traumatizing almost! They break when you sharpen them, which is totally infuriating and I can feel my money going down the drain. Once I've lost literally half a crayon, sharpening super lightly and carefully, and still the core was breaking/broken inside. I'd recommend AGAINST buying Derwent from my experience and I've heard other opinions like this from others too. Shame, they do have lovely colours.
