The color assertment in your Summer Vibes collection is absolutely DIVINE! They go so well together. It's INCREDIBLE to see how much labor and love goes into your paints, one really has to love making these paints, I'd personally propably annoyed after 2 minutes, haha. Your channel really is an inspiration , absolutely love your water colors!!

About the different colors having different formulas and stuff, SO TRUE! I swear. the blue and green colors take forever to dry but the red dries very quick. At least with my watercolor paints anyway

This is clearly a labor of love 🖤 Can you use a dehydrator or even some kind of box with a dehumidifier in it to speed up the drying process? It seems like 4-6 weeks is a long time to wait

Ooh seeing the binder making is cool! Do you add honey or glycerin to yours, like I've read some watercolors use? And I still have an older dot card I got from you a while ago, but I'm scared to use it xD I'm afraid to run out in the middle of a project! But they're a fun way to see paint colors and learn before buying the pans!

Thanks so much I am so glad you liked it! :) My paints are all vegan so I can't use honey. As a replacement I use plant based glycerine, it works like a charm :)

Just a thought but wouldn’t a food dehydrator help speed up the time between layers to fill the pans? Not sure if it would crack the paint/ reduce the paint quality or something but might be an idea to try ^_^ (in assuming big companies use something to speed up the process too and this is the most logical way I can think of 😘 )

From my local art stores, but I guess it all depends on where you live. I'd go to check at the stores around your area, otherwise you can always buy online just google "buy paint pigment".

What are dot cards used for

Dot cards are samples. instead of you spending $50 on a 4 colour pan set, you spend a couple of $ and get a dot of each colour to test it out first.

Why big companies aren't making dot cards like yours? I could test how those colors behive and mix with each other, without guessing and loosing money for paint that doesn't work for me. It doesn't even have to be free sample, i think 2-10$ (depending on amount of samples and brand) for complete chart of certain series would be a fair price.

Luckily there are a few companies offer dot sheets like Daniel Smith and Schmincke. I found both on Amazon and at my local art store :)
