i am a mood crocheter as well and have a big list like you. I have a hard time getting started because I overthink things and sometimes feel like I procrastinate more than I do. Yesterday, I tried this strategy for market prepping!! I pick a series to watch and after an hour episode I choose another item from my list to switch to making. The switching keeps me entertained. lol. It might not be the most efficient, but it keeps my focus and interest higher. So yesterday I worked on mini frogs for one hour, mini pigs for one hour and dino snugglers for one hour while watching the latest season of Survivor! I felt less like I "had to" crochet and not "tied down" to finish a project.

I'm usually crocheting to KZbin videos or audiobooks. I typically check KZbin first thing in the morning to see if any of the channels I subscribe to have new videos (I LOVE your long videos!) and when I'm caught up on those, I'll switch to an audiobook. Most recently, I listened to The Fourth Wing followed by Iron Flame. Also, I have to say having a highlight of the free patterns you use is genius! I'm still trying to figure out how to organize all the patterns I like, both free and paid ones. I find myself abandoning WIPs a lot because I can't remember where that pattern is or even which one if it's one of those patterns that are everywhere with slight differences.

@@helloimparadox yesss I do the same thing! YT first and then I switch to either audiobook or a comfort show afterwards depending on my mood. If it’s a heavily involved pattern I’m working on, I avoid audiobooks because I get sucked in and look track of the pattern 🤣🤣🤣 I LOVEEEE fourth wing and iron flame. I can’t wait for the next book.

What pattern did you use for the elephant snuggler? 🐘 Love the rainbow colours you used for the octopus. 🌈🐙 I'd do the grey in the centre bottom. The navy and green is a great combo. For TV shows, depends on what you like. NCIS, West Wing, White Collar and Macgyver are all good.
