I love Coopers tail! He's such a happy boy! Good boy! What a sweetheart! I love Animals. They give us such peace in our lives. We had a cat named Missy but she developed kidney problems and we had to put her down. We were heartbroken. Mom's a cat lady, she feeds ferril cats and has a feeding station out back. I'm partial to dogs and birds but I love cats too. Missy did funny things like she'd meow every time she pooped in the litter box until Mom would clean it then she'd stop meowing! Smart car huh?! I miss her. When I went into hospital she'd sleep on my bed. She was a good girl. Thanks Sandi for your videos! Take care!

I love birds. We spent so much on their dehydrated meal worms for the blue birds and Carolina wrens not to mention food for finches and other seeds for cardinals and woodpeckers we can file them as dependents at this point. Lol,🦉🐦

Your painting reminds me of the precious dishes I inherited from my grandmother. She was an avid gardener and loved birds. The set of dishes are white with illustrated birds by the Audubon Society. They are treasures. Enjoy your weekend sweet Sandi!!

The feeling when your work starts to become a body of work - there's a string running through or as you say a "theme" - is SUCH A GOOD FEELING! I can really relate to that emotion in the start when you're excited about the concept, but not sure if it'll turn out how you think

Hi Sandi! I just found you about five days ago and have been binge watching your videos almost non stop! Absolutely wonderful! I have learned so much and been inspired in several different directions with my own art. My favorite thing is how many times you say “fun” in your videos! I’m stepping back, loosening up and not being nearly as precious as I was a week ago! Thank you for that! I have started a whole new themed art journal full of things I’ve learned from you in just one week. And I love that you are in Nashville! Hope our paths cross one day!

Great tips! I like listening to your videos while I work. 😊 I love the towel tip I do a similar thing but with freezer paper. I think it's also called butcher paper? I find it's a little sturdier and can take a lot of water. Plus the rolls are BIG so I can cover a whole section of tabe and go wild with the paint!

I think I've got some freezer paper -I feel like maybe I even tried it - if I go to a larger palette I'll try that! Thank you!

CINDY!!! You are tempting me!!! I actually reached out to Nova to see if they'd like to send me some paints for me to try and share my thoughts with yall but I never heard from them - may still have to try them and purchase myself. That real color chart though is so tempting!

@KristieBittleston3 жыл бұрын
@@sandihester I’ve used Nova Color paints for a while now - the shipping isn’t bad at all and I’m in North Carolina. The viscosity is really similar to soft body acrylics and the pigmentation is good too. You can buy a few smaller 4oz jars to start and see if they work for you - that’s what I did? (And you can’t find a better deal on gesso - their prices are great!)
