I can't believe I finally found this video! I watch it a couple years back and in the last month, I've been obsessed about finding it. I've typed in "Sandi Hester painting in the dining room," "Sandi Hester still-life in the dining room," etc. Nothing. Then just now, I clicked on this video because I wanted to see the installation of Sandi's painting in a collector's home and here it is!!!!! You're amazing, Sandi!

Sandi, when you shared that your painting got snapped up straight away, when you posted it for sale on Instagram, this didn’t surprise me at all. You make great art. A great eye for colour, pattern and design. It was thoughtful of the purchaser, of your painting, to allow us to view it being put up in their home. It looked really good on the wall with the patterned wall paper behind it. Hopefully, some day, a book will be published showing some of your great art work. As always, I enjoy your inspiring videos 🌻

Thank you for being you. I came upon you by accident, and after just one video, subscribed immediately. You, and your style has reminded me of something/someone, and I’ve been wracking my brains all day to no avail, now, it’s 1.45am (in the U.K) and I’ve got it! The Bloomsbury group. You feel like a throwback to those wonderful years where writers and artists would gather at Charleston, Vanessa Bell’s house. You would fit right in. Your videos have been making me feel very relaxed and I wish I was as free with my art. The portraits I get commissioned to do make me feel quite restrained. People want realism from me, and even though I deliver what they want, I long to just break away from it, so maybe if I watch a bit more of you, you’ll inspire me to let go a bit. 🤗🇬🇧
@sandihester3 жыл бұрын
Well goodness- what a compliment!!!!!! I’d love to be in a group like that now! 🤗 I wonder how working in a looser style for your own personal work (like in a sketchbook) could influence and enhance your commission work.
