Honestly, I think the artwork was original and unique, though the paint job maybe was not perfect. After the restoration, the guitar looks just as any other guitar off the shelf. I think restoring it functionally while preserving the unique artwork would have been more interesting

You placed the bridge pickup in the neck position and the neck pickup in the bridge position. Not the end of the world, but it could make balancing the pickups' volume very hard.

i admire the effort you put into restoring these guitars. i like the asmr aspect of it too. im not a fan of cleaning/restoring old, beaten, used guitars just so they can look normal and look like the rest of the guitars youll find on a music store. obviously theyre player guitars, modified to look unique for the audience. these guitars have history, mojo and stories to tell.

Personally would have cleared over the original un original paint followed by a restoration of the hardware with only the clean up that would have been required I.E. getting the paint off the tuners, cleaning the fretboard and making sure it's straight and redoing the electronics to make sure they work. But I would have kept the rusted in look because I don't know where that guitar came from or from how long ago but it's had a life...

Yes it looks much better than before that's for sure. However you had a filler, why didn't you fill all the dings and dongs, why did you leave the paint with an orange peel, why didn't you clearcoat it afterwards and where's the stepped wet sanding from 800 to 5000 grit? I mean if you go through the pain of disassembling a guitar, stripping its paint off, doing a good job on the neck might as well do the paintjob correctly too while you're at it even if it's loads of work and the guitar isn't worth it.
