I really appreciate you let players play their revived guitars at the end of the videos. It's always exactly the style players that would do that to their guitars and they play the coolest stuff! I guess most is own material? This guy was really something special man! Love your videos.

As someone who is a huge punk rock fan I am one of those people, the reason is just the history, someone played the shit out of that and personalized it so it feels a little sad to take all that away. It's better if some kid played it and covered it in stickers and spray paint then to lean it in a corner and never play it again ya know

Nice job on that LP Junior. Plywood body, P-90 and no frills. Great rock guitar. Nice wide neck. I liked that you kept the dings in the guitar. I would've foil taped the control cavity because those Epi P-90's can get a bit noisy when using a ton of distortion but otherwise, you brought a classic back to life. Well done!

Do you think they used "tone plywood" or "normal plywood"? Most people don't know that the only difference between the two is that the former uses "tone glue" to hold the layers together.

Very nice job. One niggle. Far too much glue for the nut. Just a little dab of superglue on the end of the fingerboard is enough to keep it in place, and ensures that the bed of the nut stays flat. Once strung, the strings hold it in place nicely. You might also find that you can get those dents out. Use a damp paper towel and your soldering iron applied directly to the area. heat and moisture lets the fibres rebound. Very effective for dents. If it comes most of the way out, a final drop-fill with superglue polished back and it'll be almost invisible.

me clicking on video: this guitar looks so cool! all that's needed is a little TLC. maybe a new pickup, some replacement electronics, that neck is probs a little wack. just some tiny stuff me getting to the part where the stickers are scraped off: YOU MONSTER! THOSE STICKERS TOLD A STORY...I WAS WONDERING IF THIS GUITAR BELONGED TO THE BLUE HEARTS, A PRETTY COOL EARLY STYLE PUNK BAND FROM JAPAN THAT WAS AROUND IN THE 80'S WHEN EVERYTHING WENT HARDCORE. I LITERALLY HATE THIS SO MUCH. GUITARS LIKE THIS AREN'T MEANT TO BE PRISTINE, THEY'RE MEANT TO PLAY GREEN DAY AND THE CLASH. IF YOU DID THIS TO JOE STRUMMER'S TELLE YOU'D HAVE A DATE WITH DA GUILLOTINE. me a little further into the video: this is a little more acceptable...ONLY IF this restoration is either at the hands of or the consent of the original owner who put on all those sick ass stickers in the first place.

I technically still have one of these reissues from the 90s. Great guitars but hard to find now. I made the mistake of smashing mine on stage back in the day. The odd thing is, even for a double cut jr, is the fretboard of mine didn't go into the body at all, so the pickguard is just covering a slab of wood known as the neck. That's the only difference between this one and mine lol
