The big ottoman underneath is a new twist i guess but seems too big and awkward under there to me and also the chairs at the sides seem kind of crammed. I agree… design is not just about aesthetics alone, it’s about form and function as well… unless they need a tremendous ottoman for function in their space, then, just for the look, it feels a little overwhelmingly cluttered. I respect her amazing talent as a interior designer, but sometimes we just don’t agree with everything, they do. 🤷‍♀️

I love all the pieces here. Though I’m definitely in the mid to dark wood tones camp, I do like seeing all the different colors of wood being used in furniture. I think my favorite piece is that magnificent marble coffee table in the bedroom. I have an antique wood buffet with a top of that same marble. It’s really a stunning stone. Well done! 👏

I really love the rounded edges seen in the furniture such as the coffee tables and sofa in the bedroom. It really speaks to providing that mental comfort and providing safety of not having hard or sharp edges in a room. ( One of the key factors in applying Feng Shui principles.) 🥰🇨🇦

I got several good ideas from this showcase. It also confirms that the "stacked open concept" design that is now ubiquitous does not work for me. Kitchen island with seating, dining room with seating, then sitting room -- the arrangement reminds me of a furniture warehouse. And oh my there's even a breakfast nook in this one.

Genuine question... In the gorgeous kitchen where she is getting ready, with the marble countertop...The marble has so much crap on top of it, makeup supplies and other kitchen items. I have honed marble in my kitchen and I literally do not put anything on it without some sort of protection like a cutting board or coaster or even a dish towel. Is there some sort of special coating on this marble to protect it? Or does she just live with the stains and etching and patina? I'm so curious!

Her design style is getting a little repetitive. Seems like every fall she has exactly the same looks and while her passion is in the right place, her lack of design innovation is starting to make her design hokey and if she doesnt innovate, her ridiculous prices will not be sustainable to keep the attention of customers for the long-term. Sadly, McGee prudish style will not age well and will go the way of Sears, DKNY etc.
