My pleasure! I'm a busy teacher, so I don't have so much consistent free time to make videos. I will continue to make them, though!

SQ3R Revamped is more modern and effective, IMO: Survey, Question, Rephrase (Feynman method), Recall (Active Recall) and Repetition (Spaced Repetition). Shortly, Survey, Question, Rephrase and Spaced Retrieval (S-Q-R-SR).

Spaced retrieval, yes! I need to talk about spaced repetition on my channel. :) There are oodles of spin offs or alternatives to SQ4R, with some pros and cons perhaps to each. Ultimately it the user who has to decide what works best for them and adapt as needed.

Hi Marty, I teach a study skills course and would love to assign your videos to reinforce the skills I teach. Is this possible? Thanks! -Melissa

Of course! I made them for anyone who needs/wants them and appreciate the views to my channel (more views = bigger impetus to made more videos).

Is it only for textbook that suitable for SQ4R method?
@morksensei

Hi there! Thanks for the questions. SQ4R was made for actively reading (anything, really). For listening to lectures (or youtube or audio), you can try a different method, such as the Cornell method. I recently made a video in that.

Hard to improve on such a job well done! Better than I could have with my zero animation skills. :)

Loose the background music. It’s distracting as hell and takes away from the topic.

I like music when I watch KZbin, and I suspect others do as well. You cannot please everyone, I guess. I will take your very direct feedback to heart, though, cheers.
