I never re-watch my lectures because of the amount of time that takes, how have I never though to listen to them on 2x speed?! Will definitely try that out for my next exams

Oh I totally rewatched my lectures my first semester on 1x speed, then someone suggested 2x after they saw I was relistening to 2 hours worth of a lecture and it has changed my study game ever since!!!

Wish I knew about 2x speed when I first started nursing school!! I used it a bunch in my second year for online lectures and it helped a bunch 😃

What’s your favorite way to memorize certain things....meds, lab values etc? Also, have you done pharmacology yet? Both of those would be good videos. 😊

These are such great video ideas! Thank you, I will definitely add them to my list. I also can’t remember if told me, are you in pharm this semester?
@lindsey25204 жыл бұрын
Not in pharm just yet but I know it’s a hefty subject so I thought I’d get my feet wet!

Learn the medications by classes 👌🏽😭

Great, you have time to prepare how you would like to study! I do have a video on how I made my drugs cards in case you haven’t checked that video out yet, but I agree with ticktocktrish, learn the classes and this will make the memorization process much more easy. My professor wanted us to know the prototype drug of each class too, so I did have to learn more specific information for certain drugs. I do have some mnemonics I used for some of the medications too that I can elaborate on in a future video too! But if you have any specific questions about Pharm, don’t hesitate to ask me. 😊

Since you do so many practice questions, how many do you like to do each day and where do you find them from?
@KristenWaldorf4 жыл бұрын
Hey Lindsey, so I would probably say I do about on average 50 questions a week maybe more depending on if I have an exam. I have specific books from the Davis’s Success series that I use for each specific class and then I use my Saunders book which has more questions. I am assigned quizzes for OB so there’s more question with the platform my school uses. Some of my textbook have questions too like the assigned books or ATI. When it gets closer to exam time, I use quizlet and search the topic I am focusing on and normally I find some great practice questions on there too! I am such a kinesthetic learner, that doing practice questions is so helpful for me. Hopefully this helps!
