02:23 - She says the fee for MBA was expensive which was around CAD 30,000 - 60,000/year so she dint choose it. 05:43 She says Master of Marketing in Schulich School of Business costs around CAD 27,000/Semester which is CAD 54,000/year. Almost the fee as the MBA.

Hi Arun, Sorry for the late reply Here's what I have got from Pavitra - "Hey estimates is what you put from website. So I rechecked it and Estimated fee for masters is 37350 for domestic students because it has total 3 terms.. And Mba domestic is 71900 because the cost per term is higher and there are 4 terms. That's why it is higher. I also said Mba “focuses on the broader curriculum of business subject” vs marketing is focused on marketing subjects.Int MBa- 106900 Int MMKG- 80150" Hope it helps

In my opinion a marketing degree proves to be relevant only if you have knowledge of the actual market. You need to work. Get on the job experience. Marketing principles have changed. You can get all the knowledge by working. At least start from something than going for a degree to get nowhere. To need to work with social media agencies, pr teams, sponsorship department, communication etc to actually understand how things are done. Getting a marketing degree has always been a debate for many because in the end your work will speak for yourself. Degree can just clear your basic understanding that's it.

Hi Sagar, thanks for the video. Very informative. What if someone does not enter via a PR? Is it difficult to get a PR post completing the master’s? As I have generally read that it is difficult to get a PR after a one year program.

Hi Sonora, Thanks for your comment!! It totally depends on lot of factors like your age, education, work exp, IELTS etc. The only thing with one year program is that yo get 1 year of work permit which means that you have to find a job in a very short period of time to apply for express entry Canadian class. Are there universities specifically only for marketing and communication or are known for the same, in Canada which provide a PGDM or MBA course?
