Hi Michael, thanks for the content! I'm currently thinking of beginning my CA, but it has been a few years since i completed my degree, and i havent been working in an accounting role. How would you compare the difficulty of the CA units compared to a bachelors degree? And how much revision do you think someone would need to do to scrub up on their degree learnings before they commence the CA program? Thanks heaps!!

Hi Paul, apologies for the missed comment here. The CA curriculum has actually changed just recently. Some of my colleagues has suggested that it's a lot more like university with assignments & essays, and less dependent on one big test at the end of the semester. The biggest different to uni that I found was CA study is a lot more independent. But then again, maybe I just didn't get involved too much with support haha

Hi Farhan, I believe CA has changed the curriculum hence why there isn't any past papers. I did have a tax subject but not a business law subject

Hi Ruchika, I wish I had of prepared better for the tax exam! I spent a lot of time searching through legislation for ITAA references, so make sure you’re prepared for that

CAANZ if you want to work in public practice (tax, audit or insolvency) CPA if you want to work within a business
