Today’s video is the first of 3 videos on exam study tips. This one is on how I make my study schedule and my favourite ways to revise. The next one will be on how to revise effectively and avoid exam stress, and the third one will be tips for the exam day! I really hope these videos can be helpful for you ☺️

Which grade are you in?
- I'm currently on a gap year after high school
Why are you studying if you're on a gap year?
- I'm studying for a math exam necessary to get into the course I want to study in university this year. I'm also self-studying biology, physics and chemistry to get a solid foundation for the subjects I'll be taking in university, as well as to get some repetition so I don't forget everything I learned in high school.
Where do you buy (name of stationery item)?
- If nothing else is specified I got it from a local book/stationery store. Google the brands to see where it's sold in your country!
How old are you/where do you live/what's your name?
- I prefer not to answer these questions for privacy reasons. I'm on a gap year after high school/before university so that is a good indicator for my age, I'm from somewhere in Norway, and I go by the name studytee/Tee here on the internet :)
Can you send me your notes, or do you sell them?
- I post my notes on Instagram, and other than that I don't share/sell them, I'm sorry!

I used to do the method “real and recall” How? First. Read through a chap of ur subject. Like chemistry chapter 4 Step 2. Close your book and grab a piece of paper. Step 3 write down everything you know abt that specific chapter. Wether it be facts, diagrams, charts, pictures WHATEVER? Write them down. Anything that relates to that chap. Step 4. After than you check you paper check wether ur facts and what you have written down are correct or not.

It's quite difficult in my school to study for our end of term exams because the teachers never finish the syllabus and usually finish the week before the exam and the exam timetable is given the week before exams. They tell us the material to focus on a few days before the exam and most don't even tell us and we end up studying most of the material that never comes on the test. We usually get coursework exams during the term up until the last day of the coursework term where the weekend passes and end of term test starts It's even harder when we have to find balance for 12 subjects😔😔 Damn...so negative. Anyway LETS BE POSITIVE I hope i can try and format this to be for my busy schedule and hopefully it will work out💓 Update: so they rarely ever tell us the topics we do and also being from an island that had been colonised by the British we still follow that school system for those who have a similar system to mine.

Same, we don't even go in the _order_ of the syllabus. My maths teacher started the first class of the first semester with the *second to last* lesson in the curriculum we were given, then we moved onto the last, then the second, then the third. and we are currently (the week before finals) _still_ going through the fifth lesson, which _will be on the exam_

Here's what I do before my exams. I tend to study a week before my exam proper. I would take down notes and make sure they're presentable (bad notes really discourage me to read my notes) then after that, I would read and try to recite and explain every topic orally. Not in a way of memorizing though. And with every topic I tackle, I have downloaded a flashcard app, (doesn't even have to be Quizlet or anything) and make that topic a flashcard. Or make that entire subject a set of flashcards. Then the night before the exams, I would just scan may flashcards, do practice problems and be chill.

What i do before my exam : Print out my date sheet and make a planner and schedule Make question paper for every subject and then I print them out Go through my Notes Read the chapter 2 - 3 times And that's it
