@@Upstart051 I don't know about that. This project involved so many different problems from engineering. mathematics, physics, computer science etc. To be sufficiently knowledgeable in all these fields that you can solve these problems in a reasonable amount of time is pretty hard. And I see potential for dividing these problems so that different persons can figure them out. For example one guy can take care of calibrating the camera system. One can be an expert on billard physics and solve the problem from which direction and with what amount of force etc should the queue hit the queueball. One person can build the queue that is capable of performing a shot in a given direction and with a given amount of force etc. Maybe 20 people is a bit much but I'm pretty sure that doing this alone is much harder.

The most amazing thing about all your videos is, It shows clearly how complicated the human mind is. When you pick up a pool cue and look at the shot you want to make, your mind makes the calculation in a split second. @Peter Evans yes, he accumulated knowledge up to the point where everything he does is at least kinda similar to sth else he already did. like the plateau thingy he made isn't new, he used that in another video as well. i'm also pretty sure he already calibrated different things in his life as well, which is also where he pretty much used old/deprecated code and got an error in. he is very knowledgeable and all he does is very impressive, but it isn't completely out of this world. i assume anyone can do this, given enough time and willpower. and i'm pretty sure that for someone with programming knowledge this wouldn't take decades. maybe like a year or so if you really have no much experience on any of these points. i'm a programmer myself and have also worked on similar projects. i'd say i could code the stuff necessary in like 2-3 weeks maybe. however on the engineering part i'd need like 6 months to even get to know the basics probably. that's the stuff that i think is very impressive and requires not only a lot of knowledge but also the necessary machines to work with. he probably spent like 100k for every machinery we see in the videos, i'd assume. which is pretty much equally impressive. like who got all that stuff at home?!

Right? I'm freaking flabbergasted. Although I think he might have hired an animator for this video, but not sure.

This guy is at a da Vinci level. It is a treat to get to see someone doing this level of polymathing. He's like an entire design/build company roles up in one. And funny. I'd love to see you work on some SpaceX type problems or Buckminster Fuller or Tesla level projects. Or, I just did.

This is why big projects should always have each individual piece made and tested first, before putting them together. I say this as someone who never follows that advice, and I'm constantly kicking myself for it every time something breaks
