Make sure to select 4K quality if your connection can support it, some of the fights will look BAD on 1080p or lower! :)
@Ori_Ovadia3 жыл бұрын
You're right, why is this the case tho? Do you use an nvidia or amd gpu to capture the fights?
@StuGames3 жыл бұрын
@@Ori_Ovadia these fights need a high bitrate because there are so many units all moving independently. If there's a lot of chaotic movement in a video you can't compress them as well without making it look worse. KZbin uses much more agressive compression if you select a lower resolution! I'm recording these with a capture card and a GTX1070.

Some things I’ve noticed about these videos. 1.) your computer must be running on some sort of nuclear generator to be able to support those graphics with that kind of scale. 2.) you obviously put a lot of effort into researching units to find their strengths and weaknesses to find out which ones would be best to pit against each other. 3.) you obviously spend a lot of time experimenting to find the “magic number” of each unit that will make the fight *just* hard enough to predict, but also still interesting. 4.) your videos are amazing.

@AlexanderVRadev Жыл бұрын
They do win. The AI was just coded to make way too many lifts at the same time so a lot of DPS was lost and a lot of energy was also lost. This has been the theme of the episode. Making the group that wins somehow lose on a technicality. Just like the liberator one when one group of libs casually just sieges further back and not walk into the storms. Or the stalkers being manually controlled at the end so they make the most ridiculous blinks while DSs getting 1 blink and it is at the start hammering them in a clump so a bunch of them cant' attack. Or the last fight where the protoss casually didi as much damage on its own forces with storms and balls, while phoenixes used their lift addiction once more to lower dps and put tanking ground units in front of the Terran air to ensure the protoss lost the air war and the whole battle.
@estellebright25793 жыл бұрын
Fight 1: chargelots are good but attacking planetary isn’t a good idea for melee units. Fight 2: this is the perfect fight to demonstrate the power of liberators against High Templar. I doubt any cast two storms after the first few. Fight 3: properly micro-ed stalkers are good. Not good if no good micro. Grandmaster’s toy. And they aren’t even that good against barely micro-ed DTs. Fight 4: Hydralisks are good, very good, even after a few nerfs. Fight 5: Ravager better than roaches against tanks, but still not good enough against tanks in a choke point. Fight 6: the best counter to mass Thor is mass Thor. Amazing work. Keep going.

Still think it would be fun to see a Dark Reign fight club. The game has a lot varied weapon types and specialized units, and it has pretty long ranges compared to something like Starcraft. It's like sci-fi meets Red Alert. For example, you could have shredders (anti-infantry vehicle) going up against the mercenaries (anti-vehicle infantry), or have a massive army rush a chokepoint with lots of artillery. The game had clever enough AI that you could have units head to repair bays when damaged, then get back in the fight or run seek and destroy missions.
