Man, I have been watching this channel for years now XD. I first started playing Warthunder back between late 2013 to early 2014, and found Phly's channel, and watching it grow so much is just insane. I remember when BaronVonGamez use to play with Phly and also use to do Men of War a lot, man I miss his old channel. Still great to see Devildog play with Phly every once in a while on different games and such. Speaking of Devildog, he has been stuck at like 917k subs for quite a while now, I feel like KZbin isn't recommending his videos to new viewers, hope they didn't shadow ban him. I remember when aircraft had the arcade style bombing reticle in Ground RB, making CAS way to easy. I kind of wish Warthunder would revert to the version in 2014 for just a few days, just to relive the glory days of the Leo I, Maus, T54, Conq, etc being the Top tier.

I keep playing that opening over and over and remembering my first plastic model I built over a half century ago. A replica of this plane that I proudly showed my WW2 Vet uncle who became very grim as he told me "I never had to deal with them but dealt with people who had. They told me the sound was something scary to the point we had to take the whistle off our teakettle because it caused them trouble in the head." Decades later I give it a try in WT and come as close as i ever will to flying that model I dive bombed plastic soldiers with in my room. Very cool.

Actually, you did the right formation....at initial point, the wedge (Kette) forms into a columm (Reihe) left wingman on second position, right wingman on third position...after the leader identifies the given target, he flies a little bit over the mergepoint and only then rolls down over the wing at a ca. 80° degree dive. Now the wingman at position two counts: Montag, Dienstag, Mittwoch, Donnerstag, Freitag....and follows the leader down in a slightly more shallow dive, so he has the opportunity to look at a targets for his own in the given perimeters...same with position three.......A second before the bombdrop, the nose must been lifted around 10°, so the bomb deflector could keep the bomb free from the propeller.....in a perfect scenario all 3 bombs will explode at the same time with the right configuration of the preselected timefuse (could be manualy done at the "Zündstellkasten" (ahm...bombselector/ fuse box?) from the pilot seat......after the automated recovery (honk, honk) and when the black veil lifts, all three aircraft are aligned (because of the overflight of the target before the dive) into the direction of their own troops....staying low, formig up into Kette formation and watch the sky around.....and the yellow goo, which so pleasantly cools the neck, probably comes from the war correspondent who is still burping on is rear seat......^^
