This is a very well thought out plan. Storage is great. There is a calm sophisticated vibe. Personally I don’t read this as a young family’s home. It is very formal. I think it’s missing personality but I’m sure the couple will infuse some of their style over time.

Love your design style and really appreciate your skill in giving high end finishes to more modestly sized spaces. We are looking to retire and my biggest challenge is finding a smaller home with the size and finishes given to the most used spaces (kitchen, primary bed & bath). We are trying to leave a 6 bedroom, 5 bath home for a more modest space but don’t want to give up on a spacious kitchen and primary bed & bath with nice finishes. Thinking we might just have to build it. Your taste & skill are exquisite.

You are detailed in your descriptions and I so appreciate it. What I would like for you to include is information on how to obtain custom work. I am trying to make livable an updated home I purchased in Florida. I couldn’t find any interior firms to help as they are overwhelmed with work. So finding suppliers as you refer to them is difficult and would love your advice for finding resources to support DYI renovations. I would love for you to include a design that allows for lots of artwork, sculptures and collectibles. 99% of home designs are about interior designed spaces that look beautiful as is, without personal artwork. All of the homes look alike, to me. I will say your videos do include more personal items than most. Illustrative of this is this video as well as renovated condo that you did for a student where you framed designer bags as per their taste as well as few pieces of art meaningful to client. I have so much artwork and it is important for me to display most of it. I must have 75 paintings/prints. My mother had 200+ prints so I suppose I get the love of paintings from her. Also, it would be useful if you could include a design that you’ve done for mobility challenged and/or mentally challenged. I have yet to see videos covering this sufficiently. It is needed. I really appreciate your channel.

Hi thanks for watching. yes interiordesign firms are extremely busy today as people are really understanding the value they bring to a project. I too love Artwork and I don’t think enough people plan ahead for it. In certain situations it is extremely important to know the size of the artwork being used as I love to incorporate picture lights to highlight the artwork and draw it in as a focal point. I also plan my wall panels around Artwork so for me it’s extremely helpful when the clients already have an established collection.

hi. thanks for following . I do use pattern but it really is dependant on many factors: the client, the look we are trying to achieve, the budget, the room itself. I usually do not follow trends to hard and do not go for obviously gold or silver or metallic sheen as I do believe they cheapen a room somewhat but more importantly date it. there are other ways of bringing those elements in. we can definitely do an episode dedicated to drapery in the near future. stay tuned......

I noticed the closet doors were somewhat shiny paint. Do you use semigloss or high gloss? Also, in a different video, the bedroom doors on the outside part was painted dark colors and the bedroom side an off white color. My question is, do you paint all the doors through the house dark on one side and off white in the bedroom side for consistency? ....Enjoy your videos and vision. You do beautiful work

Hi I generally use a semi gloss paint on all doors and yes, when we do a door dark we do the entire house dark for consistency but I prefer the bedroom side to be the same colour as the trim

I was very distracted in this video's beginning by the odd display of the watches in front of the TV in the bedroom, and again mid-video when the camera zoomed in on them again. That was just bizarre to the point that I kept thinking about it and missed so much of what was said in between.
